New Cavalry Speculation

Has anyone started thinking about what our future heavy Cav would be?

Legionnaires riding heavily armoured Ulks?

Ogrun riding giant, blighted boars?

Nyss spearmen riding Hellions?

What would your preferences, guesses, speculations be?

I really can't think of an obvious cavalry choice. Maybe we'd get something neat like soulless spearmen cav.

It looks like everyone who's got heavy cav is getting light and vice versa, so Legion would get a heavy cav unit. I think Ogrun would be cool personally.

Something Ogrun related is probably the most likely though I'm not sure it's the most appealing. That said, they'd get a little mileage out of the War Chief.

I think its about time they brought us some rideable dragon spawn on medium bases that count as heavy cav. Maybe with less spd, but has either pathfinder or Flight.

I am hoping for Ogrun cav. They'd serve a different role than Raptors and I personally want to see us get more Ogrun options.

I'm hoping for no Ogrun cav, but if I had to make a bet, that'd be it. In part that I don't think it fits the Ogrun vibe very well (or at least, not the 90% mad, blood thirsty ogrun presented to us), and it's too easy, I like when PP left fields things. Nyss on heavily armored Ulk, sort of Khador's Uhlans, with a Legionnaire take on them. Either way, I hope they get a -real- Dragoon this time. I've always wanted a dismounting model.

I think a ridden spawn is probably more likely for a character dragoon then a standard unit of cav. That said, Nyss knights on blighted bears, anyone?

being serious i feel we'll most likely get an elven unit, and i also feel it won't have flight, i mean we're alredy the only faction with a flying huge base able to get the old flight rule on saeryn's feat.
