My wife decided to give me my Father's day present today, seeing as I won't see her again until Monday. It was eKaya and Standing Stones.

Quoth the Feral Warpwolf: "MMM BACON!!!"
If all else fails, counterattack. At least you'll go down with dice in your hand.
Lose or win gracefully and with good humor, and you will never lack for opponents.
Always remember the dice hate everyone. That includes you.
Bah, my buddy's wife got him a Kraken from a ninja shopper.
As a surprise.
I told my wife about it. Her reply? "What's a Kraken? Does this mean when you go play with the boys this week you'll come home pouting about those skeleton people killing you again?"
Hey, WarpedWolf... Are you, by any chance, from around New Orleans?

My wife-to-be asked me to make cake toppers out if a Mauler and Ironclad for our wedding cake. Ironclad's wearing a dress and the hammer has been converted to a bouquet of flowers. Mailer has a shredded tux.
Victory?
My wife lets me fly to cons on the other side of the country.
I loves her.
Father's Day present for me was a Battlefoam P.A.C.K. 432. Gotta love her!
Totally off topic, but PG_ThatRickGuy, why is my name spelled wrong in your quotation?
On topic, your wife is keeper. Lock that down!
Are you your wife's father sir? ~.^
Lucky gits, my girlfriends present to me from the kids was a bottle of soda:-(
For Cygnar, round (thankfully). Khador boobs would likely be square!
I got Stormwall, Threemo and the Colossal book, (on order) early for Fathers day. My wife and her best friend mock me all the time, "so are you going to play with your army men on Thursday?"
I loves her too!![]()

Loki77515: This one guy at my LGS that I play the most LOVES to play infantry heavy Cryx lists.
Darknesse: Is there any other kind of good Cryx list?
Loki77515: ... No. No there are not.
The forums seem to have one of two responses to new models. (A) "This model is worthless, I'll never use it." or (B) "That model is over powered, it's going to break the game." A few models get both responses, which ends up being really hilarious.
But what's wrong with saying "This model is circumstantially good and it's up to me as a good player to exploit its strengths and minimize its weaknesses"?
Huge chunks of my Cygnar and British forces (FoW) have been funded by the warchest of my wife's wallet... large chunks of her jewelry collection by mine...
My wife is awesome for the simple fact that she didn't complain when I started buying minis for three of my five sons. She's also giving me a gift card to the FLGS for fathers day.
Like I said, awesome!

My stepdaughters wedding was last Saturday. She made companion cubes for the cake topper, they looked awesome.
And it would figure that the stormwall would come out the week after when I'm tapped out after paying for a wedding. Oh well at least my son-inlaw plays Khador.
My wife is awesome: She lets me do my hobbies, supplies me 24-7 with yummy Thai food and surprised me on my birthday with a Tablet Computer (to put Warrom on, when it comes, eventually)...!![]()
How about some alternate-paint scheme CYGNAR?! And after that, why not spend some time in the woods with my CIRCLE ORBOROS...?!Originally Posted by Saufzwerg
My wife supports me in the hobby as well. Paints, models every now and then, and even occasionally will throw down some paint on a mini. She is epic.
I got a cute card she made herself...
which was amended with "and there's a Stormwall at the LGS, paid for, with your name on it".

"No, thats the way YOU do it. I do it a different way..."
Tomorrow is Father's Day, and our wedding anniversary. I'm not expecting gifts from her for either.
Think I'll spend the morning snuggled up with my daughter watching Dr Who or something. If I'm going to mope, I'll do it with a quilt and some British tv.

And then TK said...... I thought it was pretty axiomatic that the Reckoner is bananas.
I am a Critical Care Technician in a hospital, so I know the feeling. I'm fortunate that this is my off weekend, but our kids live 200 miles away. My wife has been pretty understanding about the space I need for my hobbies - one of the smaller bedrooms is essentially my den, and half of the table is usually taken up qith my painting setup.
