    Default Stormwall deconstruction

Has anyone ripped the torso apart on Stormwall yet?

It's hollow....I wouldn't suggest it. I found this out after drilling into it to pin the guns, and arms. It has a huge empty cavity inside.

I'd really like to know how they manage that in a vacuum chamber.

Regardless, it's still very durable, and extremely lightweight. But, mine has the completely resin legs, as opposed to the newer one with all metal feet.

Come on Ghool you know me better than that... you think I would want to destroy a perfectly good $135 model?

    Destroy? No.
    Cut up and cast? Yes.

That would be interesting to know how they did that.

I wonder if PP replaces hollow pieces that break during assembly? I wouldn't be surprised if hollow pieces caused the destruction or near destruction of several battle engine pieces(and eventually Colossal pieces). I know I almost ruined a Celestal Fulcrum's center globe, and might have done the same with my Animantarax had I not examined it extra carefully(bottom side sounded solid, top side sounded hollow).

I'm guessing the electric spires are getting re-cast in clear resin, while the torso houses the electronics for the Blue LED's.
So play like you've got a pair, or put down the metal and go find something made of plastic.

There are a few places that are thin enough for light to shine through. Looking at it from the inside out I would be fairly careful if pinning this guy.

ran into a similar problem when I drilled the smoke stacks out. Some voids in there too that made me nervous. It's doable though, but go slowly.

Paint on the inside and out should take care of that. Might need to be a little thicker than usual on the inside.

I'm about THIS close to just calling you Nemo from now on. You definitely have enough of the mad scientist vibe going on.

Can't wait to see where this goes this time!

For love. For honor. For Devilsquid.
