    Default Just another winter table

Here's another table I put together during the last few days. Please exuse the poor photo quality. The terrain is built up using foam over a framework of plywood and L-shaped profiles. The ice was made from plexiglass, given a good melt by a heat gun, and sanded on the underside to reduce transparency. The snow effect is from Woodland Scenics and is nigh impossible to prevent from coming off.

    What do you think?

I totaly love it... belivable dirty! I guess I wouldn't achive such thing myself.

    Just 2 things I noticed:

I'd suggest to weather and age the tracks, they coukd use some oil/rust.

Usually a (steel)bridge is colder then the surrounding, as the wind and outside temperature can 'attack' it from all sides. So at least the same amount of snow should be there, even some icicles.
    Won:31 Lost:26 Tie:13 - Bad ratio, but at least I'm honest

I love the smell of ozone in the morning!

It's just plexiglass, cut to size and heated on the stove until they started melting.

I'd like to kidnap you and Pake and hold you captive in my underground-nemoesque-mad-scientist-dungeon to build tables at my bidding...

Have missed the ice floes shoved against the bridge in the earlier pics ... great details.

    ENVY ! ;-)
