pVyros 50 and Garryth 50

Hey guys - just want some critiques on the two lists below. Running pVyros at tier 2 and Garryth. I feel Garryth needs another arcnode in there - something fast like a chimera and able to disengage from enemy. Suggestions and critiques welcome.

You run a very similar Vyros list to me, ultimately however I felt that he was better off with a second heavy warjack, so I essentially swapped the Aspis, Scyir and one Arcanist for a Sphinx.

I playtested a version with two soulless and a unit of stormfalls a few times. Did stormfalls not end up being worth it for you? I am still trying to find the mix I like with the tier. I really like soulless in it though.

I preferred the 2x Stormfall as his reinforcements, allows them to come on in a position where they can really make a difference compared to if you can only take one unit because the other is in your list.

I ran that exact same setup for a while until I tried switching them out to put in the Sphinx and it just seemed to work so much better for me as a result. Besides that it also means that you have two heavies that can be filled up with Vyros's feat compared to just the one (as well as another 30 ARM19+ damage boxes floating around).

Any playtesting on the marshalled deamons yet? Curious to see if they are worth the hearty point cost. Faced off against any stealth/ hidef infantry?

Well that Bakaryu fella kicked a lot of *** with them. Word on the street is two Marshall'd Deamons beat the crap out of people.

I've done more than playtesting, I have taken them to three tournaments since May and my pVyros list hasn't lost a game.

Daemons are absolutely devastating with their guns, and the flexibility granted to them by Pronto takes them from good to bananas. Ironically enough in one game they were kicking butt in melee too because I found myself knee deep in Iron Fleshed IFP so it was easier to hit with blessed fists than it was to hit with the gun.

I'd say you making masters finals as the #1 overall scorer in preliminaries with Garryth and Vyros may make you somewhat of an authority.

I modified my Garryth list based on some further reading - I am psyched to test out the vyros list - all models are in just need to assemble now. The only thing I wonder about the vyros if I drop the aspis the scyir and an arcanist if I try to fit in a sphinx for the 7 pts.

Are your lists posted on the forums somewhere Bakaryu? I could have sworn I'd seen them but I tried doing a search and couldn't find the Garryth one, or the Vyros one for that matter, but more interested in Garryth.

edit- nevermind, found them with a keyword and username post search
