Thread: Thanks PP!

    Default Thanks PP!

So, I assembled and played a game with my Stormwall this weekend.

I got a gamer rush like you would not believe. Probably the most fun I have had in 12+ years of gaming. My wife (who was playing me) has told me in no uncertain terms that she wants the Woldwrath if it is at Gencon.

The colossals are awesome! They make every game feel even more epic without negating the rest of the army. Well done sirs.

It is such a great model! Played it against my friend's mountain king. So cool!

As an aside, the other company is releasing a new edition, so I hope you guys are prepared for another wave of refugees...

Yeah I've played mine a couple of times now and it is an awesome model and an awesome model to play with. I'm really considering picking up a second one.

Apparently rumor through the grape vine is that the Woldwrath will have a gun Cygnar will be jealous of and AoE knock down fists...so be prepared for your wife to knock some heads together lol

I must admit I got a certain tingly feeling when I first plonked my 6" tall Warjack down on the table

Can't wait for Conquest next month!

I too am super excited about this, I haven't really been excited with war-gaming as of late, there wasn't really anything fresh. Colossals really took me back to my beginning days of warmachine, the first time I saw a warjack, and then when apotheosis came out and we got our first character jacks. It was new feeling and a nostalgic feeling all in one, and I can't wait to get the rest of my colossals/gargantauns.

I'm very excited for these, but must keep calm until the Mammoth is released. Though a peak at it (aside from what we saw at LnL) would really help make the waiting easier PP

I am so excited for the Judicator and the Mammoth both - too bad they are both going to be later/last That said, I cannot wait to be burninating the heretics and trampling my future slaves (respectively)!

I had fun demolishing it with a squad of Cataphracts! Send that oversized tin can back to Nemos tools shed. It was a super fun game and it was very intimidating.

I would like to thank PP for the Colossals book in general. I am in love with the design.

Every model, rules-wise, seems very intricate and well done, as if they really took their time to make sure each of them was engaging, fun, and definitely "present" on the table. It looks like they really hit their goal with the 'casters, and the Colossals themselves were brilliantly executed in terms of balance and power. It was cool to see them take on an entirely new model type and point value and do so well.

    I love this expansion.

    THE grapevine.

These new models are making my, now year long, unemployment hurt even more than it already does. Kudos to PP on some fantastic looking toy soldiers... err, robots.

For me also, the colossals are an injection of pure cool and awesome into my gaming spirit, and their very existence has made me start painting WM models again like mad.

    My brother's friend's cousin's former girlfriend's sister's ex-roomate's brother in-law mentioned he had read about it on a forum somewhere. I kid, I kid.
