new to the game Rahn 25pt

hi guys im new to both warmachine and hordes and have just started retribution with Rahn as warcaster my current list for 25 points is

Rahn
Phoenix
magister
magister
battle mages
mage hunter assassin
full mage hunter strike force with UA

just seeing if there is anything that can be changed out at all also looking at what to add to bring it up to 35 points i was thinking

arcanist

if you have any ideas it would be great to get some feedback

I mentioned Lanyssa Ryssyl (Minion) earlier to you today. She will be less useful to you than I first thought (In this list) as Rahn's feat is Friendly Faction. She might still be useful generally however. So, it might be worth Sylys being in the initial list in place of a Magister.

I think you're on the right track expanding, I like the list, it's pretty much what I play, and I kick a fair amount of metal.
I like how Rahn can easily offset the poor hitting chances of the mage hunters here. good luck with it.

Anyone else? I don't know Retribution too well, so I can only generalise and the list above was kind of built to my advice. I just hoping I haven't missed a trick.


Isslington, played his first three games on Monday, and I'm hoping to get him solid enough so he doesn't get chump bashed too hard in a tournament in July.

yes thanks Night Haunter i was considering dropping a magister for sylys and then buying him back at 35 as well as maybe dropping the strike force for Stormfall archers and more battle mages just for some extra damage on the feat turn but wondering if this will leave me over exposed for the rest of the game
