In the insider currently visible Doug Seacat talks about his State of the Faction address, where he went through each faction and gave a morale raising speech for that faction's partisans.
Can anyone who attended recall what the Minion one was like?

Down But Good Completed Warmachine Fan Fiction, novel length.
I wouldn't mind seeing the State of the Faction Addresses for each faction if that would be possible. Just a nice little fluff encounter of the world in its current state. Maybe a nice little post or downloadable pdf.

"It's a brand new day, and the sun is high. All the birds are singing that you're gunna die! How I hesitated, now I wonder why, it's a brand new day." Dr. Horrible
I'd like to see a copy of that as well - so I could read a bit about my favored factions.
Currently playing: Farrow & Skorne
Other than that it happened State of the Factions has been the most difficult thing to find any information on.
I am in the process of posting my notes over at the blog I post at, sustained attack: http://sustainedattack.wordpress.com/
I am going through them over the next few weeks (also, on an unrelated note, we are now posting something every M-F on the blog, so you should all come read it!)
These are posted in "notes-form", not in any sort of narrative, because I could never do Seacat justice.
I post under the moniker Red Manatee at Sustained Attack.
I should note - I haven't started on the State of the Faction Address yet, but once I do, I will be doing a faction a day, vs. alternating days with Smash like I am right now. So, they are coming up soon![]()

Even money says that Cygnar's rally speech amounts to "Still the largest" (read: "Not dead yet").
I too would really like to read some of that info.
To that end;
@Doug Seacat: Would you mind posting up even some condensed notes on the speech's you gave at LnL? Possibly my favorite thing about the Iron Kingdoms is the persistent game world, and knowing exactly what's been happening to each of the factions as the story progresses would be awesome. I know you're busy, and probably don't read these forums all the time, but if you see this pretty please?

Part of the Farrow State of the (Not A) Faction address:
"Wreee. Oink oink oink, wree wreeee wreee. Oink wreee oink, wree wreee oink. OINK OINK? OINK! WREE WREEEE WREEEEE!"
Just to let you know, that is what I am doing on my posts at Sustained Attack over the next few weeks. They are not narratives, because I cannot do Seacat justice. But they are condensed, note-like commentary on all three of the different seminars when I went to them (all of them I attended on Friday)

And I just thought of this - stupid mornings - I realize this isn't Seacat's notes, but I did do my best to take comprehensive notes. There are a few places where I seemed like I missed a few things, but not much there. I was writing pretty much constantly throughout his seminars - when I wasn't laughing too hard to write of courseHe is a funny guy, and has a really solid, dry whit.

It was quite fun to watch him take time to answer questions - as he was undoubtedly sorting through the information in his head and remember what we already 'know' versus what they haven't revealed yet. It had to be a difficult presentation to give, but it sure was a blast!
Having not read the book, I don't know if what was revealed in the speech is a spoiler. You were warned.
From what I heard it went something along the lines of "Well, we lost the Thornwood, but that's ok. Thornwood's mostly trees, and we've got more of those. So it's good."
Anything worth fighting for is worth fighting dirty for.

Hey Dungeongod, did you see anyone recording the talk? Or was that specifically not allowed? I'm looking forward to your articles on the seminars.
I don't remember any recordings of the talks I was in. I wish there was - they were really good. I think they would have made good you-tube videos, personally. Privateer Press could have their "talks" channel, and have the talks and seminars they do on You Tube
Edit: I also have already started the articles. I am usually posting every-other day during the weekdays (alternating with dbsmash), but I am going to do one a day M-F when I do the faction addresses.
