    Default Connie super speed?

    So i was fiddling around on my army builder, and thought how can i make connies army faster. Thats not to say shes not fast already, as with crusaders call her armys +2 mov on the charge. However i thought...how can i make it faster, as with an alpha charge she can throw some SKs in your opponents face and pop her feat for a devastating second wave. So i threw in Lanyssa Ryssyl to give an additional +2 mov on the charge, giving our SKs and PKs a massive 13in charge range with PF as no doubt runewood or rupert (maybe both) are in the list. Also with runewoods reform on the SKs they can be pushed further into your opponents lines forcing him to kill them when you pop your feat, or ignore them which still gives you a bunch of SKs up the field. This will also support her jacks, and gallant with a 14in charge threat is pretty nasty... especially if connie charges the same target.

    Granted all this will force connie to play further forward, but with her feating early, camping and AS she should still a tough nut to crack.

    I'm like the ideas I love to go first with her it seems to help with alpha strike stuff at least in my meta and I'm interested in Lanyssa now let us know how the list dose and can you list the full list so I can see your brain thoughts

    Yeah 13 inch threat range is nice and makes for a nice Jam list. I really want to try the Connie/Lanyssa Module with Commandos and Finn. Thats a 15in threat range plus they have Adv Deploy. I just seems like it would be hard to get Lanyssa positioned right for Hunters mark.

    I play lanyssa a lot in one of my more popular Kraye lists. I find it hard for her to get hunters mark reliably on the targets I want to jack bullet

    List wise i was thinking something along these lines

    Constance Blaize +6
    Gallant 9
    squire 2

    Full precursor knights w/ UA 10
    Full sword knights 6
    JM lancer 6
    Alain Runewood 3
    Lanyssa Ryssyl 2
    Journyman warcaster 2

    Its only 35...and i know shes better at 50 but this was all i had atm. I took a lancer over a firefly as the arc node could be handy for throwing out sunbursts and its a bit tougher, thus keeping the SKs flank a bit longer. I figure BW on the SKs to keep RFP spells from negating her feat, and AS on connie as shes gonna be pretty far forward to keep the SKs in her control. runewood passes out buffs, and stays back with (maybe further back) connie to as to stand ppl up if knock downs are an issue, and because hes the only source of PF. LR can also hunt solos once she helps with the alpha...and even hurt incorporeal guys, and hunters mark does give free charges for jacks...always helpful.

    All and all its just something i threw together. SBs might be a better choice for the followup over the PKs as they hit like a bus with assault and opens up the stormblade as a more efficient choice over gallant. heck nisse hunters charging at 14...with WM...ouch.

    feel free to mix it up with stuff u thinks better...i was just going for fast units that sprang to mind.

    I think the arc node has to be in her battlegroup to arc. So the node on the Lancer when marshaled is not so good.

    I've played several similar lists. It looks okay. I tend to favor her theme list when I'm building a knights n jacks list, but I really like PKs. At the least I would suggest moving the Lancer to Constance and dropping Lanyssa for Gorman di Wulfe or Harlan Versh. I haven't built a Blaize list without Gorman in some time. At most I'd say drop the Lancer and forget she has Sunburst so you can camp more. Then you can drop Lanyss for Harlan and get the Black 13th and Gorman in the deal, which is losing a durable reach jack that occasionally convinces you to spend 3-5 focus on a 3" aoe and gaining you a 4" pow12 cloud, and 3" smoke/oil/rust template, and two weaponmaster gunfighters.

    That's just my opinion.

    Journeyman Warcaster is 3 points instead of two. You might have to drop the Lancer down to a firefly anyway to squeeze JR in, or you can field Rhupert instead

    I've played Constance and my 2cents about this is although Lanyssa Ryssyl is an option to extend your charge range its very unreliable. I found that players early on see this trick coming and generally hold back their beasts especially when seeing SK + UA on the battlefield.

    The best way to increase your speed play is to use Corbleau and Anastasia to flavor or the tier, its very hard to keep stuff away from Corbleau and have Anastasia running with the unit, then move Anastasia up using Corbleau clear some infantry then have Anastasia move in and get the move and attacks again. This combo is personally far better than Ryssyl I feel.
