pSkarre "conversion" question

So, as I understand the conversion rules, the model has to have the weapons listed on the card or resemble them, and must resemble the character. Right? If so(or close enough) could I just cut the hand cannon off eSkarre's model and replace it with the blood wyrm from pSkarre? I love eSkarre's model, but don't really like the way she plays, though I adore pSkarre with a passion. great caster.. So, any helpful answer would be appreciated.

In casual games, anything your opponent agrees to is fine.

In tournament games, the official policy is (and most organisers enforce it): the majortiy of a model has to be from the model it "counts as". The important thing is that "the end result of any conversion is clearly identifiable as the intended miniature"

I think most people would think you're playing eSkarre. Especially from the other side of a table (i.e. your opponent).

I think it could be done, but many players might mistake her for eSkarre anyways, since she has that boat under her.

I think the gun is probably the most minor thing about eSkarre, and suspect many opponents won't even know that epic has a gun and prime doesn't.

Maybe if you had epic without the boat, it'd work, even though it'd still violate the spirit of the rules.

Get rid of the boat.
Switch out the HandCannon for the little knife.
Should be good to go.

It's certainly the biggest difference between prime and epic Skarre, especially since there are at least two different sculpts of prime Skarre out there.

I suppose so, but I identify them by their pose rather than the ship.
I'm contradictory though, I made the ship bigger for my eSkarre T.T

but the thing is, I love the boat. that's my main dilemma. It's why I love the model. makes me think of her making landfall at some poor, unsuspecting village, ready to leap from the ship to bathe in slaughter and revel in the blood of the innocent! ....sorry... but anyway. so I suppose there'd be no good way to keep with the basic look/feel of eSkarre and play it (legally) as pSkarre. :/

Also, Spiderbite, that skarre is hilarious(in an awesome way). I love it. Great use of nightmare's little brat.

i didn't really like the boat (though I used it later for a captain) so I converted Eskarre onto battlefield wreckage

hahaha very true. XD alas, though I like the skarres posted here, I still have yet to find a good answer...ah well. thanks anyway, all. I'll get over it. :P skarre's cool no matter what.
