Looks good. I think you pulled off the effect you were going for. If you are doing the rest like this, what's the plan for cloth and leather colors?

    I like it!
The white looks fantastic, definitely "old Soviet" look of well used and well aged.

I think the gun (Moving cylinder and barrel) and sawblade need a bit more. Moving and in-use parts should shine against the rusty back-drop so I would suggest they be highlighted at least two steps more in areas where the moving parts would wear the corrosion off.

.. great rust effect on every rivet and screw

I'd second the highlighting of parts-in-use showing up as "polished by use, well-oiled for proper function" as well.

Wow. The rust on the gun makes me feel gritty. That's an amazing job! Any tips on how you made it look textured like that?

Holy Oxidation Batman! That's a good lookin model. Makes me think of the old WWII German camouflage.
They were given paint in paste form so they had to water it down with what ever they had on hand, and that was usually gasoline, and applied with a mop to the tank. (Fun fact for the day.)

Have you thought about defining the shadows a bit more?

Excellent! The rust effects are great and I love the little scratches you did (I'm curious how you did those... tiny brush or something else?). I do wish there was a tiny bit less white and more bare metal like on the gun and shoulder spikes to break it up a bit.

the white and rust looks great! my only critique is that i'd like to see the white broken up a bit more. i'm sort of losing something visually with everything the same. i'd suggest the head, and the saw specifically. the head because a lot of character can be created by a nice looking head on a jack, and the saw will balace the metal of the gun on the other arm. asymmetry can be good, but, to me, it looks sort of off on this guy.

but, i really do like the white and the rust. looks fantastic!

Somebody needs to have a talk with the Mechaniks about the upkeep for that jack...

Good effect, but there's so much of it, it seems more appropriate for a long forgotten wreck than a functioning warjack.

Hi all thanks for the feedback I'll go and tinker with the metals and take the idea of the face a bit better if you go to my blog http://kingdannz.blogspot.co.nz/ I've linked the videos of how I did it. Thanks all.

I think black lining (or brown lining) in between the armor plates will help make the model pop even more. A bit like on these guys:

Second what Mr.chair said, a little brown lining with a wash / thinned ink will go a long way to separating out those armour plates to give the model a little more definition

Really love the finish on it though, looks awesome and the white armour is fantastic for making the weathered armour really pop!
