Greetings legionnaires. I have been in a writing fury. I am taking a poll. What do you want me to write about? What do you want to read/contribute to? I'm open to suggestion, ideas, expansions. Sticky with me and lets blight the world 1 thread at a time.

Maybe another play book of sorts but in regards to how to deal with specific casters. Example: Ehaley. Really just some tips tricks/good discussion on taking down Caster X.

A guide to expanding on the battle box would be good. "What next" threads are extremely common and being able to refer new players to a sticky where all the experienced players have weighed in isn't a bad contribution in the least

I'd love to see a Dust Off on the Neph Prot. Such an awesome model, and I can almost find a place for him in an Absy list, but he seems to not quite justify his existence in the majority of lists. I'd love a fresh take on him.

i will third the "how do you deal with caster x" thread, but I would also expand it to problematic units in general. EG: Cricle Druids, Winterguard Deathstar, Lord tartar sauce and backup banes.

Nominating one caster i would liek to see a solid stratergy against.... Venethrax. The "i was built to beat legion" caster. he seems slightly unfair and I have had abbys clock cleaned several tiems with him.

Maybe not a "caster X" as there are so many out there, to cover them would take some time. What I would like to see would be more in the lines of faction X. As a newer player myself breaking into a bigger gaming community / tournaments, there's nothing that stops me more than fighting new factions/casters/lists I haven't seen before.

A general overview of our rival factions and maybe a toe dip into their stronger casters and units and how they threaten us would be something I would love to see. I can run through cards, and dig through their forums all day, but having a view from our blighted side would be much more insightful. This is how I'll be facing them after all.

At some point I may do a metta game article...however TBH I typically don't meta specific casters. My method of beating them is to typically out play them with what ever list I brought. Lol in this regards I will be less help than in other light and it would be you the community contributing the most. However I can try my best. Model spec articles I can write in a day or two. Tacticas take me about a week

You know what's funny? For as long as I've played WM/Hordes, I still inevitably will deploy my models on the table and it never fails -- At the top of my turn, I look at my deployment in abject horror, wishing that Model X had been here and Model Y had been there. Is there anyone else who feels that way? I'm almost never satisfied with my deployment!

An article on basic deployment formations, complete with diagrams would be super useful, though... maybe I'm the only one.

I think after individual models are run through talking about combos, synergy, and more ability relation will help naturally evolve into list building, meta discussion, and the next level. The common complaint and discussion de-railer boils down to not seeing the faction as a whole and wishing that what you've got does something better, but would unbalance somewhere else. So 'zooming out' might bring some clarity to inner-faction balance.

Otherwise I could see the value of discussing how to play 'efficiently'. Tips for saving time, ways of clearly displaying spell/abilities, how to deal with difficultly posed models in combat, tricks for figuring out order-of-operation, hobby tips for any of the above, etc. Clearing up the play field/focusing your gameplay helps enable both you and your opponent to have the best game possible. There's plenty of other elements to the game for us to expand upon.

hey every one. just wanted to pop in an apoligize to you guys. i know i promised allot of articles over the last week and the coming week. i was/ am an evacuee from colorado springs and the wild fires going on there. i then drove 24 hours across the country over the last 3 days to stay with family. im going to try to paly catch up soon and get some of these articles finished and in the sticky. real life some times throws us a curveball. i hope to be back on my time line in about a month. im going to try to grind through some of these and get a bunch up back to back. keep an eye out for Blowing the dust off: angelius, my play book #2, killing time vayl1, vayl, 2 and more battle reports from a tournament on both warlocks to help get a look at how i play them and use their tools in SR. battle reports arent for every one but if you find any thing useful out of them im glad. thanks for all the awesome feed back. feel free to leave some more suggestions for future articles so i can get them on my time lines.

I second this. I always have troubles deciding when to use the feats for most casters, Some are obvious, but others not so much.

ill see what i can do but i can tell you from experiance that most warlocks feat needs to be used when the time is right and not when the time is X. there are a few warlocks live Thagrosh2, Lylyth2, ect who often use their feat on turn 2, some times bottom of turn 1.

- Compare synergy with UA, Spawning Vessel and Witch Doctor.
And how much points is better to spend on this unit (4(min) - 15(max+UA+SV+WD))
- What warlocks love them and for what they almost autoinclude.
- Compare with Hex Hunters, Grotesques and Swordsmen. Often you can only take one unit. When Legionnaires are better? Synergy if you can take 2 units.
- What formation is better?
- Maybe something else.

(I want to buy another unit and can't decide, Swordsmen or Legionnaires)

The witch doctor is not a UA for the legionnaires and has anti synergy with the spawning vessel

pVayl is about as subtle and tricky as a sack of bricks to the side of the head. I love her to pieces but I swear to god I'm on auto pilot when I'm playing her.

I'm still a newb (been playing 3-4 months) but I would love to hear any insight on the scather crew. Granted I believe that it would best be used (2 of them) possibly in a Elylith list and she is the one warlock I have absolutly no interest in. But I would absolutley love any insight in using them from people that have some experiance with them.

Granted take what I say with a grain of salt but I really think they have potential but I don't own them and I feel that they won't be a purchase within the next 2 months for me due to still needing to pick up some essentials that cost wise will make them a non prioirty tiull the 3rd month.

But I would absolutley love to hear any/all insight from anyone that has experiance with them. I would like to thank any and all who reply to me on this issue :-).
