Default looking for animal skulls, bones and pieces

I noticed a couple of Marike Reimer's pieces on her site have animal skulls on the bases. I'd love to find some of these for sale somewhere to use to decorate some models.

I'm looking for various safari skulls (gator, elephant, wildebeast, gorilla that sort of thing)

any dragon/snake skulls that could pass for legion would be cool too.

But would also love to find some carcasses of slain or animals in the process of being butchered or eaten.

    any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

secret weapon minatures has a buffalo skeleton available. With a little bit of creative putty work you could easily create partially consumed carcasses.

Skulls from Freebooter miniatures... Animals included. A little pricey with shipping, but if it's what you need, I haven't seen anything like it elsewhere. Your LGS may be able to special order it for you to avoid the charges.

This whole page is awesome, but the skulls are at the bottom.

Just noticed the Wash-Up Bits pack has a fish carcass. So that's something...

Warhammer woodelf-dryad sprues has some bones and animal skull. If you have a friend who play woodelves, he most likely have spare ones.

You saw her description on the bones on the base of Ar-Fienel, right?
The bones on her base are from owl pellets (they were cleaned before I got them) the skull is a lizard skull from eBay with horns sculpted on. I paint dead things!
You could look on eBay for actual bones of small animals; in scale they would work as giant monster bones.

warhammer undead armies also have usable skeletal horses. If you can find any of the old ones on Ebay, the skeletons have some goat and cow skulls on the sprue, too.

Also, if you are willing to pay for them and do the dissecting and cleaning part of things--you can buy owl pellets on the internet. You can buy almost anything on the internet!

there are a ton of Games workshop bits stores out there that might be worth browsing through... as already mentioned, they have tons of skeleton horses, try looking through the ogre kingdoms kits as well, they have tons of skulls of creatures on everything.

I had to dissect them in school. And I've looked up buying owl pellets. I may buy some once I have a permanent place of dwelling.

If you live in an area with barns you can ask the owners if they ever find animal skeletons or owl pellets in them. I am sure they won't mind some free cleaning services. I was able to get a variety of squirrel, chipmunk, snake, and small bird skeletal bits that way.
