Default Kaelyssa 15pts for a small tournament

    Hello everyone,
I've got a small tournament coming up between friends, where both Hordes and Warmachine will be played. The tourney is 15pts, with no special restrictions. I'm new to Warmachine, so I thought I'd post my list here first. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Thus far, this is my list:
    Kaelyssa, Night's Whisper
    Banshee
    Sylys Wyshnalyrr, the Seeker
Mage Hunter Strikeforce (Leader and 5 Grunts)
    -Mage Hunter Commander
    Eiryss, Angel of Retribution

We're 8 participants, and each player will play each opponent once.

    Change pEiryss to eEiryss.
Also I'd consider trying to include an arcanist. Maybe Eiryss to arcanist and assassin?

I'm pretty sure Eiryss, Angel of Retribution IS eEiryss.

Anyways, for such a small points game I think you might find yourself struggling against casters that can't be threatened by the Mage Hunter Strike Force (high base ARM or DEF). You have virtually no front line. You may find yourself very naked with only one heavy 'jack to protect Kaelyssa. In some good match ups your opponents will hate you though, as the MHSF can take out some casters on their own (with decent rolls of course). Kaelyssa will be able to help them out with the assassination by generally shooting the warlock/caster to do some damage as well as removing fury from the warlocks via her Energy Siphon gun to prevent damage transfers. Make sure you watch out for slams against your Banshee though, because if it's slammed over Kaelyssa you are in huge trouble having a knocked down ARM 14 base Warcaster! Sylys I'm sure you know will probably want to upkeep Phantom Hunter on Kaelyssa most of the game when you don't need it on the Banshee. Higher armor might be rough but if they are playing Warmachine you can pretty effectively lock down a jack by hitting it with Eiryss and an Arcantrik Bolt. A disrupted, stationary 'jack is a standing pile of metal for one turn (bonus points for a Banshee knockdown).
One thing to remember as well, read Witch Hound. If you need to glue blinking lights that spell out Witch Hound on your hand to remind yourself about this amazing ability, do it. One of the best attacks to make is the shot from your Banshee. If you can knock an opponents heavy warbeast/warjack in its own turn (or anything else you think RAT 5 can hit unboosted), it will loose its activation (unless it is immune to knockdown in which case it must still forfeit either its movement or action!).

Kaelyssa has a great spell list for covering her army against magical attacks. Putting Arcane Reckoning on your Strike Force is a good idea as it removes the possibility of a caster targeting them with magical AOEs hoping to take some out. The stealth on the unit will mean that the caster will auto miss if outside 5" (unless they ignore stealth of course) and with backlash on the unit, missing with a spell means the enemy caster becomes the target and is automatically hit by it. That's not a mistake any one will want to make twice!

Well I hope this helps put some emphasis on some great things your 15 point list can do for you (though I'm sure a lot of what I have said was actually considered when you put the list together).
