Need help dealing with Blindwater/ Bloody Barnabus
Just started journeyman league, we are still in battlebox/ 15 point mode.
Gators are broken! Destroyer cannot hit him as long as he is in his swamp (no ranged attacks), and if I charge (Barnabus) he pops feat and knocks my warjacks down. HELP!!!!

are you using only the battlebox or do you have access to more models? and what exactly is your opponent using? how many gator infantry is he using, what kind, and which heavy beasts is he using?

If it's battlebox the Gator player should be using Barnabus, Spitter, and Wrastler. At 15 points in a Journeyman League, I'm not even sure if he has enough points for any Gator infantry.

if that's what the gator caster has, doesn't seem like it should be too hard for the khador battle box to kill 'em. just advance your whole army every turn(keep sorscha a safe distance behind your two jacks) and on turns you're not engaging, have pSorcha walk up, throw a tempest spell then use wind rush to retreat. the point of this, is that you're not going to out threat the wrastler(even with boundless charge) due to the spitter throwing him and then the gator using his animus to stand up and then charge. BUT if you knock him down first, that's one less fury the gator has to wreck your jack with. heck, if i'm remembering correctly, one unbuffed wrestler isn't even able to kill a khador jack alone WITH all his fury, much less being down several fury. and depending on whether or not Barnabus even exposes himself by walking up and casting the wrastler's animus, the beast might be forced to cast it himself and thus be so low on fury that he might not even break any systems. also, keep the destroyer up front and make it so that's the one the gators have to charge. after the wrastler's failed attempt to kill the destoryer, just have the judgernaugt walk up and wipe it off the board with 3 focus for 4 pow 19 attacks and one pow 15. once you take out the wraslter, there's really not much left on the board that can kill your jacks. barnabus might be able to wreck a half dead one, but it'll take all of his focus. just be careful to keep sorscha away from the wrastler's thrown charge distance, and Barnabus's walk and shoot magic spell distance. heck, in this game you might not even need to pop sorscha's feat.
and if your jacks and his beasts both kill each other, just remember a full camped warcaster always beats a full camped warlock. the warlock might have all his fury but it's doing him squat if he doesn't have anything to transfer to but a warcaster sure loves having his +6 armor while camping.
