WIP Sons of Bragg

I usually lurk the forums, however I've been Working on my Sons of Bragg recently and feel that I've been accomplishing some decent work, and felt that I'd like to see what the wide world thought. so without further ado. The sons.


here are the tabletop ready versions. There is room to improve some parts, but for now they are a welcome addition to my Kriel

They (the models) do not look half as bad as the Forums are claiming.

You know what sticks out for me - the teeth. You really made the teeth stand out. I like it.

thanks for all the compliments. As far as the metals go, the truth is that I haven't even really painted them yet. What you see currently is my base work, which is boltgun metal with a wash of Agrax Earthshade. I agree that the models are great, I don't understand why they get so much hate.

Your metals are great. The skin and hawks look real good.

But the models still stink. Especially the faces. That anatomy just looks ridiculous. Almost like they're undead and their jaws are unhinged from the muscles being gone. Totally horrible. I'm expecting a giant carrion worm to crawl out of their gaping maws.

I'm really shocked at how much love the armor has been getting, I only hope that when I finish painting the metals that the general consensus will stay positive

I keep hearing about how terrible looking this model is. Well....it's a troll. They are ugly. Deal with it. I personally think it looks like the Gungans from Star Wars. Meeesaaaah liiiiiike.

Great job painting but I don't know if I am entirely sold on the models just yet. No matter what I'll pick them up... eventually to have in the collection.

Yyou have a really nice contrast there between the dark metals and the blue skin. I think the teeth are excellently done. I look forward to seeing them finished!

What colors did u use on the tongue and gums?

the base is lich purple, inked with purple ink, then highlighted with warlock purple.

still not a huge fan of the models, but your paint job is definitely a step up, great work!

I'm so sorry to say, but You've got to spice up the bases more. one tone of grass for a character model seems bit of a disservice.

Great work, the bases are a little plain IMHO. Are these models out now? I pre-ordered but they haven't come in yet

Nice paint job, but damn the models itself are so incerdibly ugly.
The art is one of the best I've seen, the models one ofthe worst.

I hope some day PP will re-do them. Maybe I'll buy them then
