As the title states I am real interested in how people decide on what to take in their lists. I know this will depend upon competative and relaxed play, but lets just assume it is for a 50 point national steamroller event with 3 lists and no known meta to try and bust. Do you -
A) Choose your three favourite casters and add to suit their play style?
B) Choose one list to deal with high def, one list to deal with high arm and one list to deal with high model count etc?
C) Build three all rounder lists to contain elements to deal with all of the above?
D) Build lists that are extreams of each other. eg. infantry and beast spam to make it hard for your opponent to choose a list to play against you?
E) Build lists to play warmachine/hordes in general?
F) Build Lists to play specific factions?
G) Build lists to jam, counter magic, counter shooting, hit and run?
H) All of the above!
I) Something completly different?
I find myself chopping and changing my lists all the time as I try to fit in all these different factors.
