Default 35 point Steamroller pSevy and undecided caster-help appreciated.

I'm entering a tournament and would like feedback on the lists and how you think it would work. Also, I am posting three lists as I am undecided on my second caster/list.

    pSeverius+6
    Blessing of Vengeance-7
    Reckoner-8
    Covenant-2
    Avatar-11
    Max Errants+UA-10
    Min Choir-2
    Wracks-1

    Reinforcements
Crusader (this will be my reinforcements in all lists)

This is pretty much my standard pSevy list except for having errants instead of Bastions. I plan on running this list in scenarios such as Outflank Outfight Outlast where my forces have to spread out to two sides of the table and using my jacks or spell assassination if I need to kill their caster, with the errants used to hold zones.

    2nd list option A

    Kreoss2+6
    Reckoner-8
    Max Bastions-8
    Max Cinerators-8
    Max Errants+UA-10
    Vilmon-3
    Paladin-2
    Paladin-2

Simple strategy with this list-walk forward and kill everything.

    Option B
    eFeora+6
    Bonded redeemer-6
    Reckoner-8
    Vanquisher-8
    Max Errants+UA-10
    Vassal-2
    Min choir-2
    Hierophant-2
    Wracks-1

I'm comfortable with most situations using this list, not really sure of a general strategy. Also, I have no idea how to spend the last two points.

Models I have that aren't already listed:
    Amon
    Testament
    Reznik
    pKreoss
    Repenter
    Seneschal
Sadly, enliven doesn't trigger from damage caused from doom cycle threads.

Your pSev and eFeora options are best, though i lament the fact that you can't fit a Vassal in the first list. I'd actually swap out the Hierophant in the eFeora list for the Covenant and replace the Covenant in pSev with a Vassal. The real issue is your choice of reinforcements. You're better off with a Repenter and the Senechal (best choice would be a Repenter, min Choir and a Mechanik {7 points of reinforcements is awkward, its more fun at 50 when you can include 2 Repenters and a min Choir}).

I've been finding lately that I just don't need/want an arc node with pSev. Ashes to ashes is just to unreliable for 4 focus (especially when a redeemer with 2 focus can do darn near the same thing while putting pow 15s on heavies). Also, for me, Avatar is a hard sell at 35. Reckoner hits really hard for that point level while being able to threaten with a gun. @50 points, absolutely avatar every time. @35 I'm not so sure. If no avatar @35 I think we could probably drop the book too... While not a bad choice, I find my book generally is on permanent avatar duty (no knock down) to help me get enliven off. Speaking of enliven, where are the vassals?!? Crusader as a reinforcement seems kinda blah to me (its only 6 points so you could shove in a mechanic). Its too slow to threaten much off the table edge (probably waste its focus when it comes on) and is a focus hog afterwards. Typically I look for units with a gun.

My pSev @35 list looks like this these days:

    Grand Scrutator Severius +6
    *Reckoner -8
    *Reckoner -8
    *Redeemer -6

    Choir (min) -2
    Errants (full) + UA -10
    Gorman -2
    Vassal -2
    Vassal -2
    Wracks -1

A fully buffed redeemer can throw out 3 pow 15s (aoe3) for 2 focus. That's enough to clear out infantry. If he aims, choir, Eye of Menoth (eom), and reckoner debuff he's essentially RAT 8... Enough to peg heavies @16" quite easily. Pow 15s will knock some damage off and coupled with the reckoners you can knock out some heavies in a turn or soften em up for your jacks/errants. Gorman helps take something out for a turn (blind), can up the damage of your heavies (rust) or help out with infantry (corrosion) while the errants screen for the jacks. The reckoners have a 20" threat range with assault keeping most casters honest and the vassals can get em to shoot again OR enliven away. It really is a nasty list.

For reinforcements @35 I'll throw in the blessing or a revenger for funzies or some infantry.

pSev is the only caster in the faction where an arc node is NECESSARY. He's an exceptionally dangerous spell assassin and by not allowing yourself that option you're neutering his offensive capabilities and/or forcing him to play much farther forward where he's likely to die, as his defensive stats are ***.

You want to take the Sevvy1 and Feora2. As for the last two points for Feora2 you should take the Covenant out of your Sevvy1 list and put it into the Feora2 list, then put a vassal into the Sevvy1 list. This is because Feora2 lists can start to fall a part against a clever opponent who starts knocking down your jacks and placing an unsustainable drain on her already limited focus.
