Now Primal says that target living warbeast gets +2 STR and MAT for one round and auto frenzies. If primal is stripped by epic Eiryss or if the model has another animus put on it does it still frenzy?

Yes, because once Primal is put on, the beast will frenzy the next round. If you think about it, the animus expires BEFORE the chance for a frenzy check, but the beast still frenzies. The effect is already in place, it just doesn't take place until the next round.
