This is a rough idea of what I'm thinking of running my vayl list is to handel the high end matches like the denegra1, sorcia2 ect. The thagrosh 2 list is to deal with hoards and jam scenarios. I would love feed back, suggestions, ideas, questions ect. I'm not against changing my thagrosh list but the vayl list is pretty set in stone unless im overlooking something obvious. Thanks in advanced for any and all advice.

In your pThagrosh list I would rather bring the Spawning vessel then captain failor. But that is just a matter of taste. I like your lists and i think they will compliment each other quite well

Thank you. Mostally I'm brining the ua for 2 reasons. 1: diversity. im bringing thagrosh to attrittion & anti hoards. If I come across circle with allot of corpse collection I.e lord of the fest the vessel becomes dead points. 2: some games I find that the UA minifeat can buy me an extra turn while my dark revival beast recovers. If I dropped it I think I would include a spell martyr and a 2 point solo like a forsaken. Thoughts?

In the thags list i'd drop the ravagore and shepperd for warspears+ ogrun solo or gators+ randomico 2 points of solos. In the pVayl one instrada of annyssa i' place 2x deathstalkers

How went the event itself? what matchups you had?

on a side note my pvayl list is exactly like yours, with only difference in mine has a shepperd instead of a spellmartyr

Round1 vayl1 vs borka brick. Sceaniro command and control.

I won via warlock assassinstion with my scythean. He was mvp this game. He killed a iron flesh mauler on feat turn that I rampagerd forward, survived a beating by a unit of champs and borka with 1 hp to come back and kill borka in 2 shots borka stumbled the wrorst direction possible.

Round 2 vayl2 vs seige with a storm wall. Scenario restoration.

great game. Very heavy terrain on the board. My angelius x2 and my hellion backed storm wall into his deployment zone. Several rounds of obliterations and ravagor shots killed seige. mvp ravagor setting seige on fire and getting the final blow. Storm wall 1 shotted an angelius with a fist on feat turn.

Round 3 vayl 2 vs stryker2 command and control.

The last game my repulse angelius combo got rowdy coretex and both the hammersmiths arms turn 2. on his feat turn he nearly tabled me. Running into my army and getting jammed in. But between fire, a spawned stinger and several rounds of incoming from the ravagor I assassinated stryker mvp ravagor. Stryker fully camping at def 20 (18 with icey grip.) Ravagor walked out of combat taking a freestrike shot at stryker. Boosted to hit and connected. Boosted damage and maxed damage for the win. Ravagor is always my mvp its just so good.

In the end the vayl 1 list chould still be improved. Im very happy with vayl 2 I don't have any changes I'd make to her list. This is ideal for my play style

Ahh I was so focused on other things I dident even notice. It dident matter back strike bonus + incite ate it

It was the first thing I killed and had no impact on the game. First round jitters some one always gets something by me :-) . My note taker dident notice either and he plays trolls.

I haven't seen the Sorceress & Hellion get much love, how did she perform / how did you use her in the eVayl list?

I love the hellion. Its fast an extra magic attack and ariel coordination helps facilitate the charge repulse refuge combo. The free charge allows you to boost to hit just for peace of mind. wind ravenger+ occulation shut down strom wall in game 2. If I had 1 more point it would be black frost shard. Since I dont the hellion works.fine

I only have minimal Spawning Vessel experience , but I guess the Max unit is needed? Otherwise couldn't you go Min Vessel & then get your point for BFS if they were more preferably?

Less acolytes means it slower and a smaller collection area. I run my legionnaires every turn untill engagement. With the + 2 speed on your flying beasts you need the speed to keep up with your army. I never bother with a min pot any more.
