    Default Returning Khador player

    Hi all,

Ive been out of the game and loop for a while, and have finally been able to return.

So, i was wondering, what have i missed in regards to Khador? My last involvement with the game was just before Wrath was released.....so have i missed much?!

    Alright, the rundown on Wrath:

Harkevich meets widely varying opinions. Still hard to tell if he's good in tournament play.

    Black Ivan is very good.

    Torch isn't.

Kayazy Eliminators are great with eVlad and can be good with everyone else. They're there to do a specific thing, not to take on your opponent's army generally.

Demolisher seems good but given it's not out yet people's experience with it is limited.

Gun Carriage seems fine, good even for certain lists. Not a huge game-changer but not bad.

Valachev is fantastic with Nyss and very strong with some other mercs. Definitely the best thing we got in Wrath. (Unless you're playing an eVlad list.)

Then Colossals happened. Not gonna comment on its stuff because it's really too early to tell if it's good or not.

You left out Sylys Wyshnallyr.... He is in my opinion easily the best thing Khador got in Wrath. He changes the game for some of our casters.

Edit: Other than that, i completely agree with your post

Have you ever actually used him? I have, and quite successfully. If you can't figure out how to make use of three initial attacks, one of which has sustained attack, I don't know what to tell you.
What the hell do I know? I suck at this game.

Hi Ravage, welcome back! Harkevich is a good solid caster, IMHO. I don't bother with tournaments but I can tell you he's a caster who's uses are more evident on the table than in the fluff book. He'll be even more fun to use if the Demolisher ever comes out. Other than that, I think Black Ivan, Torch and the Kayazy Eliminators are all pretty solid used appropriately and in the right lists, of course.

Black Ivan's basically an auto include with Hark. Boosted bombards make your opponents cry. Hark really makes the Behemoth shine too. Hark needs an Ace-In-the-Hole, though, and so you'll want to give him self-sustaining infantry (IFP's, MOW ST's, WGRC w/ Joe) and Greylords and probably either the Eliminators and/or Manhunter. AK's and Great Bears are good ideas for him too, especially the Fortune spell.

Hope this helps. Best of luck and again welcome back!
