Well I've picked up a 100 point two caster per side game vs my mates Menoth on Monday.

I've played my other casters allot recently so I'm giving Zerkova, Strakhov, Karchev, pSorscha and pVlad a rest.

I'm going with my old favourite eIrusk along side my brand new shiney Old Witch and Scrap Jack models.

After scouring different forums I've picked up on the old witch play styles and I'm going for a combined arms approach with area denial to funnel my opponents army into kill zones.

So the premise works thus

A front line of ranged units inter mixed with high defense melee infantry. Backed up by a second line of hard hitting units.

My two casters aid with denial feats which restrict or punish aggressive advances with murder of crows and suppressing fire to funnel the high defense low arm infantry towards my units that can hit them.

Leaving the slower high arm models to my beatsticks.

The bombadiers from my centre flanked by the wgrc and widowmakers this forms my front line, a short space behind my kayazy wait flanked by the eliminators.

The secondary line is formed by the demo corps and jacks.

My opponent plays very aggressively with his jacks and uses his infantry more cautiously. With out fail he throws his jacks forward and then follows up with his infantry to mop up what's left.

Between karchev sling shots, pVlad, PSorscha and Strakhov feat turns it rare he gets to charge anything other than sacrificial units put there to bait him.

But he's learning so I'm trying a different approach the basic plan is.

1) Thin him out at range picking off the annoying units eg choir of menoth and annoying zealots before he gets too close.

2) I choose the fights via feat turns and unit positioning, I know his high ARM stuff will wade throw moc, field of talons etc but his softer weapon master units and infantry will have to be more carefull. Giving him three choices 1) attack piece meal 2) hold back a turn 3) page 5 run ahead regardless of losses.

All three gives me opportunity to pick him apart unit by unit in melee, at range or via feat turns.

3) pray for good dice rolls

So here's the list I've missed out some units (wgds) as yawn I've sick of them and included others because they look badass and have big hammers (hail Sigmar).

Others I've included due to new model syndrome.

Not the most competitive list but a fun one and an interesting challenge and change for the Menites.
