    Default 100+ point lists, pSeverius + ?

I feel a little bad for only contributing to discussion in the forums by essentially asking, "What should I buy?" I haven't really found much of any lists for Protectorate that go past the 50 point benchmark, though, so I thought I'd ask for advice. Along with pSeverius and pKreoss, here is what I have:

    Crusader - 6
"Templar" (heavy box set, hoping to magnetize this) - 8
    Vanquisher - 8
    Reckoner - 8
    Repenter - 4
    Blessing of Vengance - 7
    - 41 points of Warjacks

Choir of Menoth full unit - 3
Exemplar Errants full unit - 8
    + Officer/Standard Bearer - 2
Temple Flameguard minimum unit - 4
    + Officer/Standard Bearer - 2
Exemplar Cinerators full unit - 8
    - 27 points of units

    Vassal Mechanik - 1
    Vassal Mechanik - 1
    Vassal of Menoth - 2
    Hierophant - 2
    Wracks - 1
    Exemplar Errant Senechal - 2
High Paladin Dartan Vilmon - 3
Rhupert Carvolo, Piper of Ord - 2
    - 14 points of solos

    82 points total.

So far, I've been pretty satisfied with most of my guys. Haven't quite gotten used to the TFG or the High Paladin yet, but I suppose more experience will help with that. The Cinerators are the other guys I have that are currently underused, but that might be due to the "Bastions > Cinerators" talk getting to me. (It's especially sad since I have them painted in a crappy Power Rangers style.) The KEEs have helped me develop my play style into something a bit more than "run up, try to avoid getting alpha-striked, and then smashing things", but it's still a long ways going.

So basically, what I'd like some suggestions on how to fill the 18-24 points from here to give me:

    1) A decent 100 point force for when my game store can do that sometimes.
    2) A variety of figures for smaller point forces.

To that end, while I have no issue with pKreoss, I would like to get another warcaster or two. Not just one to complement Severius in the huge games, but also one that I works well with what I have and won't warrant over $100 in purchases to make work. My initial thoughts for a third warcaster were eSeverius and Harbinger of Menoth. However, I feel that I want eSevvy mainly to shove his Awareness up the arses of the Khador armies that use Arcing Shot and the bird guy from Ret, namely with nice, boosted Flame Belcher and Condemner shots. As for Harby, while she is sweet, I fear that I'm mainly wanting her because she's the only one of the 4 big "competitive" warcasters in our faction unclaimed at my local game store, and I don't want to be a scrub or something by only playing the "best". (A fellow Protectorate player at my store mains eFeora.) Plus, she costs as much as 2 light warjacks and will likely be a big pain to assemble.

My other ideas were to go with a Reclaimer and the book for added support, and a Vigilant, because a warjack with two shields for arms is the best thing ever.

Typically when you play at 100pts you use two casters.

I am aware of that, thank you. That's why I asked which one would work well with pSeverius.

I would suggest grabbing the Avatar or the Vessel of Judgment plus the warcaster of your choice and maxing out the TFG. After that I would get an extra paladin or two and the reclaimer.

As for warcasters, Harby is one of my favorites and works really well at all point levels. Reznik or Thyra are great choices and play very differently from what you have, which can add a lot of fun.

    Hooray, actual advice! Thank you!

I ended up biting the bullet a few days ago and put in the order for the Book, Reclaimer, Vigilant, and eSevvy. The "best/worst" topic and paradox's write-up convinced me that the latter two would be a lot of fun, and playing in a practice Colossals book release tourney convinced me that the Covenant of Menoth would be of use. (Said tournament also taught me that I need to get faster if I want to not have a 100 point game not take all day.) The Reclaimer's usefulness appears to be self-evident, but at least I did preemptively follow some of your advice!

My fellow Menoth player unfortunately got it into my head that the VoJ was too "self-destruct-y" to be worthwhile, and that it would be best to wait for a plastic model kit for the Avatar. However, with Stormwalls and Deathjacks showing up at the store, it might be a good idea to invest in a big thing as well.
I haven't had much experience with Vilmon to know how to use Paladins that well. The few games I've played since I got him, it seems like I've always found something else I'd rather do with those 3 points.

Harby and Thyra do look like a lot of fun, but I feared that they would need things I don't have. (eSeverius at least seemed to go with my beloved Recokner and Vanquisher.) Maybe I'll pick one of them up after Gen Con and after I've tried the epic old man. Reznik...scares me, fluff-wise.

As for the TFG, I really do need to invest in getting a full unit. I'm just not certain if I want to buy another minimum unit, so I can have two of them to get Tier 4 on pSeverius for the Colossals tournament, or if I should save $10 bucks by getting two sets of grunts.

If you are not enjoying Vilmon then I would suggest against the two paladins I previously suggested. I would also suggest getting a wide array of models rather than getting a second unit of anything to get tier bonuses. There are a lot of great units for us and all of them have slightly different uses. The errants+UA would probably be my next suggestion. They take a bit to get used to all of their denial, but once you get them rolling they can relly stop a lot of other factions tricks. Proxy the VoJ a couple times and you will quickly find that it is not as self-destructy as your friend thinks. It can do a lot of damage and can hit things from range that normally cannot be shot. All of those shots being boostable. Add in the miracles and it is definitely worth the points. Plus it's an awesome looking model! Proxy it first and make sure that you like it, but I think you will have a lot of fun with it.

Vindictus is also an excellent second caster for Severius. The extra speed and pathfinder from True Path stacks nicely with Eye of Menoth to really transform your troops into superior models. Plus, you get two copies of Defenders Ward to pass around and it is a thematic pairing to boot.

I'm slightly bummed that there are no 100 point theme lists yet. There are some pairings that work well in the fluff and could make for an interesting 100 point theme list. eSeverius + Vindictus, eFeora + Thyra, Harbinger + Testament.

Ah right, I misread the op and thought you were trying to build a single caster 100pt list.
