I sold my Circle quite a while ago, almost my accident; I placed it up for sale along with my TBs on a whim, then a guy made me a good offer on both.....so off they went, even though part of me really wanted to keep my Circle, but couldn't resist the allure of the cash dangled in my face :X
Anyway, some time has passed, and I'm looking to get back again in time for the new book and Woldwrath. Previously I went with Kromac and the "usual suspects" pre-Domination, so this time I'm looking to shake it up a bit with possibly the Baldurs and Kreugers (and probably eKaya), but also with the newer post-Colossals/Gargantuans meta where high ARM + many damage boxes will become very much more of a common sight.
In the past, I've always felt my Circle army was pillowfisted, particularly since my meta has quite a lot of players that love multiple heavies; but up to this point it was possible to somehow negate or sideline them and go for the jugular. That might not be so easy with the new Colossals/Gargantuans.
Thing is, 35 points (the local standard) is pretty tight for Circle. This probably means I might need to leave out the Druids and most (if not all) of our infantry units if I want to favour a good anti-ARM matchup. Perhaps just Shifting Stones (two units and one UA), a few solos (e.g. Wilder/LotF) in my collection (i.e. not necessarily always in the same list) then just run three heavies and a Gorax. Or perhaps just not bother killing and find a way to ninja around the back. For example, Wolf Riders.
Or gamble on something in the Gargantuans book to help with this problem.
I'd really appreciate any and all advice you guys would have
Thanks!
