Default Rebooting my Circle Collection, Advice Much Appreciated :)

I sold my Circle quite a while ago, almost my accident; I placed it up for sale along with my TBs on a whim, then a guy made me a good offer on both.....so off they went, even though part of me really wanted to keep my Circle, but couldn't resist the allure of the cash dangled in my face :X

Anyway, some time has passed, and I'm looking to get back again in time for the new book and Woldwrath. Previously I went with Kromac and the "usual suspects" pre-Domination, so this time I'm looking to shake it up a bit with possibly the Baldurs and Kreugers (and probably eKaya), but also with the newer post-Colossals/Gargantuans meta where high ARM + many damage boxes will become very much more of a common sight.

In the past, I've always felt my Circle army was pillowfisted, particularly since my meta has quite a lot of players that love multiple heavies; but up to this point it was possible to somehow negate or sideline them and go for the jugular. That might not be so easy with the new Colossals/Gargantuans.

Thing is, 35 points (the local standard) is pretty tight for Circle. This probably means I might need to leave out the Druids and most (if not all) of our infantry units if I want to favour a good anti-ARM matchup. Perhaps just Shifting Stones (two units and one UA), a few solos (e.g. Wilder/LotF) in my collection (i.e. not necessarily always in the same list) then just run three heavies and a Gorax. Or perhaps just not bother killing and find a way to ninja around the back. For example, Wolf Riders.
Or gamble on something in the Gargantuans book to help with this problem.

I'd really appreciate any and all advice you guys would have

    Thanks!

I've started to go the 3 heavies + gorax route more often, and I think it's both fun and effective. I still love my druids, but since they're less helpful against stuff that can't KD or moved I think that the more beast-heavy setup is going to be pretty successful.

I think eKaya's really good for this. I like her with the warpwolf trio (who get AD in her theme list) a unit of shifting stones or two, a gorax, and maybe the wilder. The only catch is that there isn't a lot of infantry clearing, but with the pureblood's spray and berserk on the stalker there's hopefully enough.

Just tinkering with your list idea; it can look like this
    eKaya
    Gorax
    Pureblood
    Stalker
    Feral
    2x Shifting Stones
    Wilder

Haha thats a small list if I ever saw one, but I'd be fascinated seeing it in action, for sure. Another alternative is to drop the Wilder to put in the SS UA and upgrade the Feral to a second Stalker.

On a side note, any suggestions on running pBaldur at 35? I'm tempted to just do his "default" tier list:
    pBaldur
    Megalith
    Woldguardian
    Wold Warden
    Shifting Stones
    Sentry Stones
    2x Woldstalkers

Seems well rounded, although it doesn't necessarily answer my "anti-armor" question since even though I can get the Woldguardian up to a very respectable P+S 19, you kinda need to actually "get it there" with its terrible speed. Alternatively I just go with the Megalith, a Stalker, a Gorax, and maybe a Woldguardian....still three heavies.

I'm also getting fairly fascinated by Mohsar. Curse of Shadows is incredibly powerful spell in this situation; not only is it an ARM debuff but it also denies free strikes and allows you to move straight through it. Talk about setting up an assassination run! Mohsar, with Wolf Riders hunting the Warcaster/Warlock?

You definitely don't want to make the beast swap. Stalkers are good, but her battlegroup spell invalidates Prowl, and her feat invalidates Sprint (for a turn, at least). Their biggest flaw is MAT6, since she lost Pack Hunters in her transition to epic, so against a dodgier targets you want the Feral's MAT7.

    I hate 35 points.

I always take a stalker with eKaya for now. Sprint & Laris is the best assassination tool she has so far.

One stalker, yes, but I wouldn't give up the feral for a second one.

That said, though, I've never had her assassination actually work. I can get her there, but even with flank she always falls short.

    Fair enough
Anyway, the Mohsar+Wolf Riders has been playing on my head lately, or at least just plain Mohsar. Opinions? Thanks!
