Default Warwitch Siren Conversion - would you Guys be ok with it?

    So.....

Am going to run 2 of our Jnr Denny's in my list but wanted them to be different.

Normally I don't mess with WM figs as they are what it says on the tin, but this time I wondered what can I do?

I know under the strict PP rules this would not be legal, but, as none of the tourney here in Blighty are "official" so to speak then I thought why not...............

Looking at the model she has ties to Denny (being a Warwitch and all that...) and since I use P(lastic)Denny and E-Denny most of the time they are fairy recognisable models.

But Alt P-Denny? I've not seen her much at all on the table, this got my interest up as in a local store they had her and she's £2 cheaper than the WWS - me being a money conscious Northerner and all that!

After a small bit of snippety snip here's what I went for....

One Deamonette head and a Corsair Sword, with a slight bend of the leg did the trick - trimmed the back pack down and removed 2 blades.....head is possibly a little large but when you look at some of the girls at my daughters school these days skinny kids with big heads seem all the rage!!

What d'ya think? Would you object? It's clearly not Denny..............

I would have no problem playing against that it does't have a spear and with a different head its easy to tell its not Denny, if you are worried about the head maybe you could try a dark eldar wytch I think they are a bit smaller.

    Sword? Check.

Looks more or less like a Warwitch(I'd prefer a helmet, but that's me)? Check.

Add the witch barbs and it passes the test for me.

You did it close to how I did, I found Mortys head to be a winner.

Not fully painted, just mostly base coated (aka was legal to use my last/first tourney!)

I think the head doesn't fit personally. Looks too big. Almost like her neck got stretched like those African tribes.

No problem with what you have done but the head is too big, look to other WM minis or even try Infinity minis. Great idea.

Cheers for feedback. Like the Morty head idea there - hadn't thought of that one.

Will look out for other heads but may have to run with this for now as at tourney in 2 weeks and it needs to be painted!

I'm not a fan of the head either... good on ya for looking to convert something up though!

According the SR rules you technically can't do that but I don't think any TO would have a problem with it. I've seen plenty of people do similar things.

I'll admit that I didn't think it looked like either model (pDenny or WW Siren), so could have been from any game system other than WM/H. That to me would be the biggest problem and the thing that would stop it being tournament legal for me personally.
The problem isn't that Cryx are broken; it's that you can't fix us.

Not sure if it being bare metal didn't help but I'd say it covers the basics of WWS - Warwitch armour, sword, witch barbs...... hopefully the TO's here won't be too pedantic!!!

Well, I got some paint on it and am reasonably happy with the result for now..... was almost done with basics when she dropped off the desk and off came her head!!! Nor one to be deterred I've turned it into a "scar" to cover it up .......

98% of all TOs I've met and talked with typically only care that the model can be seen for what it is right away, and I think that you have that down.

Looks good from here. And I like the scar.
