I've been stalking the forums waiting for anther War Room stalking forum. But this will have to do.
I am, even after the heart wrenching and crushing disappointment of May
Me, though of my friends I am alone and I am unanimous in that.
You mean if I tell my wife, or don't tell my wife?![]()
Until I have it on my phone I don't believe it exists.

I'm exited but no longer will get the $60 package (my job contract haven't been renewed so anything that is saved goes to surviving until it is or get a new job). I will still get Ret and Mercs though.
WARMACHINE/Hordes no more.
Past caring now, doubt I'll even bother down loading it.
?Those of you that survive will walk at my shoulder, undefeatable and forged in blood your victories will be spoken of in legends yet to come. They will know you not by name for from this day on you have none, they will know you instead as the invincible Gods of War, the wise, the cunning , the kings of battle! Lords of war! You will be my Tyrants!?
Couldn't be less apathetic about it. I already decided on passing on it when it was announced.
Not really interested at all. I don't really see the point in buying a fourth copy of the rules for models just so I can access them on my phone. I already have my faction decks/faction books/rule books and cards that came with the models. War Room doesn't offer me anything I don't already have so I think I'll pass. List building would be kind of nice, but I have most of my faction's PC memorized by now so I just build lists in my head and jot hem down if they're worth keeping.
(I still miss iBodger...)
While I'll miss iBodger (which seems to be getting buggier by the day) I'll buy the app when it arrives. I hope it's not too hard to see on phones as I doubt many folks will have pads with them all the time.
After these delays though, it better look fffing gorgeous on my iPad3.
I'll get it when it releases, IF indeed it releases in two weeks.
Whilst I'm looking forwards to it timing is unfortunate as it would have been good to have it available for the ETC so that I could have an idea what my opponents can do!
I'm definitely looking forward to it. Since I took a long break from playing, there are quite a few models I'm not familiar with, and having easy access to all the cards will be quite handy

If I had a smartphone (I know, I'm the last living 1st-world citizen without it) I'd get it, fo' sho'.
Not the last, but we are a dying breed!
I do have an iPOD touch though (hand me down from the in-laws) that I was thinking about downloading the Khador and Mercs on. I think I read somewhere that you can put it on as many devices as you want after you download it, since it goes into your iTunes store. Is this accurate or do I need to wait until I break down and get a smart phone to put it on?

I have a dumb-phone, but I also have a Kindle Fire. I don't think I'd be as excited about this if my only device that could use it had a phone-sized screen.
As far as downloading the app/cards - the app is free, and IIRC you will have an account that your available factions are tied to.

Definitely looking forward to it. It's the only thing that is stopping me from doing a factory reset on my phone right now.
There is no 'overkill'. There is only 'open fire' and' I need to reload'.
I'll buy it, simply because iBodger is now out of date and my faction deck doesn't have everything in the Forces of Khador book, but I'm decidedly less excited about it now. I know software development delays happen all the time, but I think PP announced it too soon, and now all the "OMG this will be awesome!!!11~" hype has worn off, to be replaced with a fairly jaded "meh".
I have had 3 cell phones in the past decade. Two were smart phones, but I always have the internet disabled so that I don't use it to browse the internet.
I did buy a kindle fire specifically for the War Room. If it never makes it out, I will be pretty aggravated. Just saying. I fooled around with it the first weekend I had it, and it has been sitting on my bookshelf ever since. This was around the last release date for the War Room when we didn't get it. >.> If I didn't have the kindle keyboard, I could at least have justified having it to read books on, but no. >.>
I want to be excited about it, but the cost doesn't justify it's own existence for me. I have the cards, they don't weigh much. Came free with the models. Don't think I'll need WarRoom...
I am gonna download it and buy the complete pack. I will use it to be able to proxy anything(even the new models) and therefore playtest it before blindly buying it.
I'm another weird luddite with low amounts of disposable income and little interest in gadgets. My phone is small, not smart, I got it used from a friend and I only use it to call with. So I can just watch these endless delays with amusement and no personal interest.
This is my main concern. Especially after seeing the screens being reworked after May's delay. They looked like they were being optimized for tablets, but by the way the screenshots appeared, they'd be rough for use on the much smaller smartphone screen. I guess only time will tell.....

I guess it's cool to say that I'm not interested anymore, as an attempt to punish PP/Tinkerhouse.
So, er, this is me punishing PP/Tinkerhouse.
Now that that's done, yes, I want it! Oh god do I want it.
I want the rules for every model in the game, and I want them at a tremendous comparative discount.
Prior to this, my options were to pirate those stats (which I'm not doing to PP out of principle, especially because I'd like to possibly sell ads on a blog), or to pay $267 for the 8 softcovers I'm missing.
At this point I'd pre-order it just to give Tinkerhouse a cash infusion so they could hire another dev/designer/illustrator/whatever and get it out the door sooner. All I have is a smartphone, and I don't care. I'll find a way to emulate it on my desktop if I have to. This app might be the thing that gets me back into Warmachine.
I can take the fun out of anything. It's true; I made a spreadsheet about it:
Fortune compared to Hand of Fate | Most efficient group size for CRA and CMA
"Dice - 7" does not equal zero | Khadoran dice probability (including S&P) | Mk. I to Mk. II conversion

Is anyone else excited for the announcement in two weeks that War Room's release will be delayed!?
I am!
yea going to go with the meh opinion of lots of the people here. The biggest reason: paying 7 bucks to build an army. I just wanna toy around with building armies for other factions, but I guess that's not an option, god forbid I like the army I build and decide to maybe start buying models for it. Penny smart, dollar stupid.
This issue could have been easily resolved by not forcing IBodger to shut down. People who wanted rules at their finger tips and fancy stuff could buy PP's app and people who just wanna make lists go to the completely free one. Everyone is happy. If that was happening I most likely would have eventually bought all the decks in WR but now I will most likely buy one for the factions I play (legion and cryx) and that's it and even then I am not convinced on doing it.
I really wish they'd focused on this and avoided the whole snafu with iBodger; I think the real value of this app is in it being an electronic version of the rulebooks, and if they'd just steered clear of list building, there wouldn't be nearly as many Debbie Downers about it.
It's vaporware till I see it.

I am really looking forward to it! Sure it was a downer it was pushed back a lot, but rather that than releasing a product that needs a lot of patches from the start!
I am very much going to love having ALL cards on my tablet so I can read up on all the tricks my opponents can do, and making army lists etc etc.
Am going for the whole package!
I played a HUGE game recently with some friends. So many cards. Every time we had to stop to find a card we'd say "WARROOM WARROOOOM!"
This probably isn't the best place to ask, but are models that are both mercs AND minions (eg Saxon Orric) going to appear in both the merc deck and the minion deck, or just the deck for the book they were released with (Minions, in the case of Saxon)?
Models that are both minions and mercs appear on both decks.
The mercenary deck is, IMO, the best deal since it should include every model that is legal for mercs contracts/themes (yes that means allies and the ATGM for example)

Well my jet ski is in the shop, it is going to cost me 1500.00 in 2 weeks to get it out, my truck needs a new steer tire, that's going to be about 800.00 sometime in the next few weeks. Quarterly taxes due next week 2500.00 or so. Still need to pick up 2 stormwalls. Ya I plan to get the full client for my iPad. Damn these gaemes releasing everything at the same time. I just pre ordered 6th edition 40k gamers edition.
I'm counting the seconds. Cannot wait! I will be purchasing all of the faction decks the moment it's released.
I'll probably get it on release because I have a fair amount of disposable income and iBodger pretty much underwrote my entire interest in this game.
