Surprised no one has posted this over here, guess you guys are used to winning hardcore events =P Carnage4U pulled out a 6 round hardcore tournament at diecon. I'm going to guess it was zaal, educated guess.

educated guess was very educated. Revenge on ehaley from zaal, he lost to ben's ehaley at mayhem with zaal i think. I know PG josh was going to be running stormwall ehaley? Brian played against a similar list just last week to prepare for it =)

I don't know what he took to hardcore, he doesn't take molik very often with zaal so he must have made some concessions to the time limit. I bet he'll post it for you monday or tuesday, if not i'll direct him over here when i see him.

This is awesome. I'm having a blast spamming our local email group with updates on recent Skorne victory (being basically the only Skorne player) while the others grind their teeth haha. One of the guys is telling me the French forum feels Skorne is overpowered. That made feel all warm and evil inside.

I have ALWAYS loved eMorghal. Ran him in Hardcore last year at adepticon. Archidons make him ridiculous.

And absolutely no shock at Carnage winning Hardcore. He's a great player and a great guy

Sorry but please explain why Archidons make him so much better? Usually I can see what combo people mean but I simply cannot see what the Archidon brings to him?

The Archidon gives Morghoul2 a really strong kill switch(Silence of Death + Ghost Walk or Feat + Rush + Archidon = 12.5" Charge that ignores free strikes w/ P+S 17 attacks that prevent healing and transfers) and Lightning Strike gives Morghoul2 the ability to contribute to combat without endangering himself too much.

The only thing to watch out for is charging outside his control zone, since it's just 10 inches and the archidon can go 12. Otherwise, a flying beast that ignores free strikes is awesome.

Ok I see, but as others have said his short control area is an issue. I will have to try it out but I love the Archidon with eMakeda!

If your willing to commit the Moghoul2 can move about 20" in a turn(Apparition, SPD 7, charge and/or Press Forward, and Lightning Strike or Fate Walker) ignoring free strikes. His smaller control area has felt as limiting as Xerxis' or Morghoul1's despite technically being equal.

I had no idea people had already heard about that... WarGamesCon has been primarily focused on 40K/Fantasy the last few years, just starting to get into the Warmachine side of competitive events.

I somehow managed to pull out the Hardcore win with eMorghoul (he's been my project for the last couple months).

I actually just posted some brief battle reports from WGC.
