Default Does anyone have Circle Orboros lattice pattern template?

Hi. I'm thinking of building some Circle terrain as one of my friends is a circle player. For the stones and stone circles it would be cool to have Orboros lattice runes (the usual Circle lightningy runes) carved in the stone. Does anyone have ready made pdf which I could use? The best would be round big template, but anything goes really. Thanks.

    Hi Mordjinn,

You aren't being ignored, but what you're looking for may not exist. My search fu ain't too bad, and the best I've come up with so far is there is a terrain article in no quarter no 5 that builds some massive standing stones, and uses some of those patterns, and another in NQ 40. There is a terrain thrills project with a floating chunk of scenery that has some circle patterns.

That's the best I've managed to find. Otherwise you could take a rubbing from the circle battle engine, or copy stuff of the circle art either from the book or from Christ walton's deviantart site.

I guess you could always email PP Laine with a pretty please could you whip something up?. The PP guys love their community, and it's the sort of thing she'd relish - she's been doing all those templates for NQ lately.

    Good luck
    Cheers
    A.S.

Cheers mate. I knew it was a longshot, but I had to try. I already found my way around the problem and once I'm finished with the piece I'll post some pictures.

    Have a great weekend everybody!

One thing i learned at Lock and Load, if you are looking to template something that you have a picture of, use some transparent plastic (the same stuff blister packs are made of) and open the picture on your compulator, and put the plastic on your screen and just trace it. Not always a foolproof method, but things that are difficult to hand draw (especially things like the circle logo) can be drawn easily this way.

Thanks for your help, I really appreciate it. I found my way around the problem. I printed the Circle Orboros symbol in right size, taped it on a piece of foam and carved the outlines to the foam. Some foam carving, LEDs and paint later you can see the end result in this thread here on PP forums:
