New Player! List Help?

Hey there I recently have gotten into Warmachine and after playing around with the 2 player box I decided to play Menoth!
So I went out and bought a couple more models and also had some models given to me buy a Menoth player at my lgs ( Which was nice of him!)

So getting down to my question at hand help me with a 15-20 pt list?
And what else to get next?

I haven't had a chance to play with The High Reclaimer yet so I was thinking about getting a box of Exemplar Errants but for right now I wanna build a fairly good list with what I have! So please help me!

Also I do like pKroess so list with him would also be good!

I have both your casters, though I have not played with the High Reclaimer, as he has a low focus. For a beginner, Kreoss is an excellent caster to start with: his feat can be powerful, he supports his army, he had decent focus, and he can be a melee fighter if need be.

You have a nice selection of jacks. I would recommend you use maybe three of them in a game. I hear the Dervish is not great as it cannot take a hit, and is not as good as other jacks. I have not used one though, and it might suit you to try a few games out.

I love the Cinerators, but a lot of people say they are not great. They can take some damage, speed up when they take damage, and have that fire burst ability with their swords. The choir is a unit you will want in every game, as are the vassal.

In a 20 point game you could have (with two points left over):

Kreoss
Crusdader
Vanquisher
Choir (4)
Vassal
Cinerators (3)

In a 15 point game, drop the Cinerators, and you have another 2 points to play around with. Note these suggestions are based on what you have in your collection.

Also note with your first list you could drop the Cinerators for 10 Exemplar Errants, but go one point over. In friendly games, I'm sure that would be ok, or you could agree to the odd point size of 21 points. Or you could use six and again have 2 points left over. 2 points seems to come up a lot with my suggestions. You could add wracks or another vassal to your collection, or something.

The best thing to do is read the rules of your units, do a little research online, take advice you like, leave what you don't. Then build your own list, play a game, and see how your experience lines up with the feedback you get here.
