When we drop from three threads down to one you pretty much have to guess that the game is over, at least until a movie come out.
So long and thanks for all the figures and fun.

All Hail Cthugrosh, Greatest of the Lords of Cthul.
Well this is a poor sign. Still, the game is only as dead as we let it be; I for one intend to use my ~$900 or so collection many more times in future, even if it is never to be completed with a fifth Elemental Champion.
Team Covenant name: Mars Elemental.
You know, like an Earth elemental....only from Mars!.
*crickets*
I thought the same as well. But I don't think you can pin this move on PP...the community is to blame for not being more active. And while I recognize that the lack of new stuff contributes to that, it takes people talking about the game to generate more threads.
Also, this was a general re-org. of PP's forums. Bodger games used to have their own forum section as well, and with 2 new Bodger games getting released, I'd hardly say that this is the place game forums go to die.
It's just different. And I agree with Willpell, my collection of figures seems to be in perfect working order...well, except for Zorog, and an Airborne Ape, they need some attention...and my Monpoc gaming group still meets to hang out and smash some cities. Game plays just fine for us.
With all due respect to PP, the official site hasn't been the center of the MonPoc world for a while now. The community doesn't participate here because PP hasn't done much to support the players or the game in the last couple of years. The community is alive and active; it's just over on Team Covenant.
Even at the game's peak popularity, this forum wasn't very active and Team Covenant's forum was a only bit better. I remember noting at the time that neither forum was as active as Mage Knight's forum on Realms despite MK ending in 2005.
The thing about TC is that it's no longer forum-centric, which is an interesting way of viewing things. Members post blog entries, or even little status updates, and other members respond. It's functionally quite similar to threads on a forum, looking at post history, etc, but it feels like we have more ownership of what's going on. There is a forum there, still, but the conversation is much more decentered.
Yeah, this! Just click the "Monsterpocalypse" tab at the top: http://teamcovenant.com/
If you don't want to create an account, at the very top, to the right of the login, is Navigation which brings up a menu from which you can choose Monsterpocalypse. It makes the site a bit more serviceable.
