Who's Feat has you squirming every time? Which Caster or Lock makes you go crazy? I know a lot of folks despise eHaley's Feat and I know Abby drives me nuts unless my dice have been superb. What about you?![]()

Karchev, his jacks chang their facing, I mean how do I beat that?
Really Karchev's feat?
The Butchers "Everything stings now" feat.
Oh yeah. Deneghra. Screw that impossible feat.
Playing both Skorne and Protectorate, where order of activation is so important, Haley2 can be a real bear of a feat for me. I also struggle against Asphyxious2's feat. There is also Saeryn and Skarre2's feat. In fact, Skarre2's feat has made me say not-nice things before, and is one of the few feats I have lost my cool about in the last year.

It's hard to say off-hand which feat I fear the most, but mention of Absylonia reminded me of an unfortunate Legion player who played her against me at a Steamroller last year. I was playing an Ossyan list, and decided to send my Quickened Houseguard Halberdiers in a first wave, hoping to do enough damage to provoke him into using his feat early. Instead, a series of hot dice rolls meant my Halberdiers killed off both Typhon and an Angelius, leaving an intact Scythean as Absylonia's only remaining warbeast.
She didn't have much of a feat left after that... <.<
My Cleansers have killed: 2 Combine members, Finn, pNemo, Sentinel, Lord of the Feast, eMadrak, Mordikaar, pKreuger, Molik Karn, Calaban

simple denagra both of them. and Ehaley every other feat has some kind of counter. these feat just say your army is screwed it for a round
eDenny is the feat I fear in any scenario game. Followed closely by Old Witch, if I havent taken enough warjacks.
Even when Im playing eDenny, im still worried about eDenny.
pSevvy also gives me pause, I hate two turns of no focus![]()
Karchev the Terrible! Blog of Khadorness
(OldOneEye)
People, Khador already HAS arc nodes. They're all just shaped like axes, and the only thing they channel is pain.
Scenario play - eDeneghra
Play play - Saeryn

Deneghra1 and haley2 are probably the ones I fear the most. After that? Maybe Vlad2.

eHaley, easily. If you have any kind of tricks in your list, that feat will ruin them. I've laughed off both Denghra feats by comparison, but eHaley's feat basically scales to how good both players are. The better the haley player is, the more they will mangle your turn. The better a player you are, the more order-of-operation tricks you're likely to have in your list that will be mangled by the feat.
"If at first you don't succeed, label it version 1.0."
pDenny. I've lost several games to it. Not happy at all.
"No, thats the way YOU do it. I do it a different way..."
Have to agree: eHaley...
The feat just disrupts so much... and with a squire the control range is a broken 18"...
Cant say how awesome it is that her newest tier list doesn't include a squire... Then again the AD battleballs loaded with boosting goodness makes up for it...
Definitely Kreoss3's. :I
Seriously, though, Denegrha2. Game ending.
Denegra 1+2, Skarre 2, Gaspy 2, Lylyth 2 and Haley 1.
Cryx....ULTIMATE POWER
I would say eHaly is pretty bad. I actually dislike pSorchas. And eKayas. I know my friends personally hate Bloodys feat. And I love maeloks feat when people aren't aware of what it does and has their caster a little too far forward.

pMadrak W4/L5 Kills: Strakhov, pSorscha
pDoomshaper W4/L3 Kills: pButcher
Mulg Caster Kills: Strakhov, eButcher
eDenny and eHaley for the "Oh, i guess i loose on scenario? huh."
Generally eGaspy, with no RFP practically in Menoth, theres nothing i can do about the feat except loose whatever half of my army he hasn't killed already. This on top of his clouds and teleport and other BSery, means its more a battle of sanity on my part, usually =/
Though its up there with any similar feats that remove whole halves of armies without any risk, such as eCaine.
"Only steel forged in faith can stand against faith. Menoth calls for him."
Forward Kammander Sorshas feat can really be the stuff of nightmares. I really think that it will come into its own as a colossal and gargantuan slayer.
For me, there is still nothing like Epic Haley's feat. It really feels like two feats in one; a feat where ever enemy in your control had to forfeit move or action would be one I could see somebody having, and then a feat where you completely choose the order of your opponent's activation. That part is less annoying, but to effectively be completely shut down a turn hurts no matter who you are.
Also, I run into Grim Angus a fair amount, and his feat is annoying. Pretty much anything that shuts down charges is a real issue when well timed...

One word...Calandra.
"There are very few problems in this world that cannot be solved via a healthy dose of wife-cleavage and cake." -PPS_DC
Calandra's feat I find less annoying than her spells! Hexeris1 I find most scary, "Oh Hai, that's a nice army you have there, it'd be a shame if they all stabbed each other to death." It's not unbeatable or anything, just scary.
Denny, Kreoss, Harby. Denny because it's "Welcome to Getting Hosed, Population: You", Kreoss and Harby just make this bubble that is hard to deal with until you have to try to weather the feat.
eKrueger, nasty stuff.
For here starts war, carrion birds sing, and grey wolves howl.

I'm terrified that Gunnbjorn's feat will be the 'new standard'.

So, let me get this right. All my advantages are gone, All my weaknesses are enhanced, All your stuff "turns it up to 11". And everything I have left , can't do anything?
In regards to the rules As presented in the rulebook how is this balanced?
Only the scenario system makes it (using the term loosely) "okay". Yet the same scenario system makes Web of Shadows, too powerful.

Few things make me giggle as much as when I put Gorten down on the table, see my opponent wince, and hear "Oh #*!%, that's the land-slidy d-bag dwarf, isn't it?"

Vyros.
Still can't figure out what the **** his feat is for.
That scares me.
I agree, it pretty much means a vast majority of new casters are regulated to lower tier while all the Mk1 Broken stuff still dominates. Kind of annoying, and will be even more annoying when years down the line the casters seen most at tournaments remains exactly the same.
eDenny and Saeryn, no question. Primarily because I like playing melee-centric Skorne, Khador and/or Circle, and usually play in scenario games...
eDeneghra at the top, with eHaley and pDeneghra closely behind. I really, REALLY question the designer's sense of game balance when these are okay but eMorghoul's blinding feat and Mordikaar's half-Fiona feats were deemed too good.
eGaspy looks good on paper but I haven't played against him yet so I can't speak from experience.
