It works. By all rights and ancestors it shouldn't but it does. The look on my opponent's face when the cannoneer plopped a 16" shot on his caster with the extroller buff: priceless. Venators Black Spot shooting an entire unit of Brigands turn 2 with mini-feat/aim bonus. Delicious.
Granted it's not as fast and satisfying as meeting sword to sword but it does have a special place now whenever I want to feel sassy and irregular.
Have to hand it to PP, that Cyclops Raider opens alot of new ideas up.

I have bene running a shooty eHexy like what you describe and it works soo great!!!
Can't wait for the MAmmoth, have to try an all shooting list

I wish I could have the success you guys have with eSexy. I'm unbelievable incompetent in playing him. I tried everything and the only match I had success in was with the holy trinity of beasts. But I don't like playing Molik so I have to find other venues for him.

Have done that a few times and the opponent really doesn't see it coming! It's so not what they expect from Skorne and opens up a lot of new possibilities in terms of diversifying our tactics. Unsure if we'll ever be able to build a 'gun-line' army but we can at least go ranged heavy when it suits us.
