BnP video batrep 101: Retribution (Garryth) vs Legion (e.Lylyth)

Ugg, I couldn't think of a worse matchup for Garryth.

Yeah, not like 2 ravagores and another unit of striders would have made it harder...

I think garryth would have done a lot better standing back a bit, out of clear assassination range from e.lylyth.
The mhsf would probably do a decent job of cleaning out the striders and if he didnt clump up the infantry a lot he would have been able to use his sentinels to take down the carni which would greatly improve his situation.

Gotta be honest...strakhov vs pHaley and eLylyth vs Garryth...those are horrendous matchups.

Ret vs eLylyth is a terrible matchup, but for Garryth particularly.

Yeah, that list is even fine as long as Garryth goes. He's just gotta not get shot up by her. At least she's not got quite the battlegroup I'm used to.

Raven here the guy that played in the video there. Well TBH my list is very easy on him when it comes to the E-lylith shoot you 2nd turn to death lists. Stick Garryth behind cover and no nothing would happen to the poor fellow or screen with the 10 weaponmasters. however I said multiple times I had Eyeslessight if you still insist to put him in the open then you deserve to die. Not to mention the raek that could just walked up to him if everything else failed. So to say it's a bad matchup in general maybe but not in this game.

True Raven but if you couldnt get to Garryth then spray 10 that infantry line(alot of models there) then use E-Lylith with her Bow with snap fire and feat vs the rest of the sents and the ret player had nothing he could have done, Use the raek to either tie up the rest of MHSF or the deamon and swords can then go to town cleaning up. It was a pretty big lose lose situation for the ret player at the end with that placement... But again E-Lylith is a pretty bad match up enless you take either Vyros who seems to take it more then most.
