So I'm not really happy with my paint job. Any way to strip the paint of and restart?

Stick your head in a microwave and get yourself a tan.
PG_ForsakenPoptart: You're the worst kind of person....I like it.
Or Simple Green. I used that and it stripped everything really well. I didn't measure out exact amounts but it was mostly like an 30/70 to 20/80 mix of Simple Green and water.
I used my wife's standard lemon scented nail polish remover. Soaked for a half an hour to 45 minutes, somewhere in there I forget the actual time. Then used an old toothbrush and scrubbed the paint away took me about 15 minutes to scrub away the paint for a retribution heavy jack kit.
I have got to finish my stripping tutorial videos...
Simple green is my vote.... and I have used a lot of different things just to see how they would compare to each other.
Most people say that what some people say is pretty stupid.

Simple Green is my vote as well. I've heard that it can eat plastic though.
I've left plastic bases in simple green for weeks with no noticeable effects. Another vote for simple green since it's super effective and not as toxic as other things. Add a stiff bristled toothbrush and you're golden.
The longer you leave it in the more the paint decomposes. I've soaked mine in pure undiluted concentrate for a day and the paint comes off in an entire slimey layer. Leave it in for several and the paint turns into silt. I keep the concentrate in a sealed container for the next stripping session. (not as sexy as it sounds, unfortunately)
Concentrated Simple Green is non-toxic, and even if you leave the models in for a year it won't harm plastic or glue. It will ruin greenstuff after a while.
Acetone is fine on skin contact, but don't get it in eyes/mouth/cuts. A fresh batch will strip metal models much faster, and remove glue, but destroy bases almost instantly. It also destroys PP plastics, but not nearly as fast as it does the bases.
