eKaya – deployed behind Laris. Put up Shadowpack and put Forced Evo on the Feral. Popped feat 2nd turn. Mostly dumped Fury to heal beasts. Charged and killed the Carni. Was killed by Abby

Pureblood – fulled AD’ed and at the center of my beast line. Warped for SpellWard and ran on turn one. On feat turn, moved up and tried to spray the Angel, but missed. Moved back to Kaya via feat. Killed a Shredder with a spray next turn. Was charged and killed by the Carnivean.

Feral – full AD’ed and deployed to the left of the Pureblood. Warped for ARM and ran turn 1. On feat turn, warped for SPD and charged the Angelius, but Abby had ForcedEvo on it and the Feral had issues hitting a high DEF. Was moved to Kaya via feat. Charged the Angel again, but didn’t have any better luck. Died to a charge from Abby

Stalker – full AD’ed and deployed to the right of the Pureblood. Warped for Prowl and ran turn 1. Charged the Angelius on feat turn but was frustrated by the enemy Forced Evo and moved back to Kaya. Charged and killed the Neph on turn 3. Was charged and killed by the Angelius.

Laris – deployed in front of Kaya. Ran wide to the right on turn one. Ran again turn 2, ignoring the feat movement. Was charged by a Shredder and took some damage. Killed the Shredder next turn. Was charged and killed by the Angel

-----general flow of game--------
I basically tried the same strategy as last game: go aggressive while having Laris go wide for any assassination runs that might come up. But it all went wrong.
I really wanted to take out the Angel but Armor Piercing would ruin my beasts. I used my feat early and dumped a lot of attacks into the Angel, just to be short one hit point. Abby countered my feat with her’s and the Legion wargroup was fully healed. The Legion player used his superior numbers to block Laris from getting close to the enemy caster, while picking off my army.

I pretty much lost this game when I failed to kill the Angelius. If the Angel died, it would have been 3 heavies vs the Carni…a much more manageable game from my end. But after Abby’s healing feat, I lost momentum and the game.
I’m having a rough time versus Legion players. I really need to work on this.
Even when the loss was inevitable, I sent Kaya out to kill as much as possible. Kill points were the tie-breaker in this tourney and even with a loss, I could still rank fairly high


result: loss (by assassination).
