Where do they come out of?
Where do they come out of?
The tip that's burried in the ground seems similar to the round things on the Stormwall's fists and above that Cygnus.
So I read this and immediately I said to myself "You really don't want to know." Because it's juvenile humor and it's still funny. Then I thought "When a mommy Stormwall and a daddy Stormwall love each other very much..." because it's even more juvenile yet still funny. Then I remembered the guy last night who was assembling a mech for another game and just happened to angle the knees a little too close to each other, with the immediate caption of "You should've gone before the battle!"
In sum, I have a five-year-old's sense of humor.
I assumed they came out of the top of its head.

Because of the way the Stormpods are positioned on the bases (and the fact that you don't need LOS iirc), it looks like they're acred high, thus I'm thinking somewhere from the back, launched up high to come crashing down and implant themselves in the ground, like a missile.
Consensus around here is that they launch vertically from the rounded area at the top of the torso. I'm thinking it's a little ambiguous-looking, so I'll probably mod that area up to look more like a Trident sub's vertical launch tube with attendant swing-out port.

the end in the ground is pretty much the same as the emerging bump on the models head. did look closely at mine and thats what I have decided.

Or possibly they start the game magnetically attached to those points?
The Storm Pods eventually hatch into the Squire. Which grows up into the Firefly. Which then develops into the Stormclad (and occasionally the "Thunderhead" mutation). The Stormclad then grows up further into the mature adult stage, the Stormwall. Which seeds the battlefields of Immoren with Storm Pods, beginning the cycle again.
As with many things of this nature, the issue is high mortality rates in the early stages. Few Storm Pods survive to hatch, and the Squires tend to die often as well. This is why Stormwalls are rare.
"No, thats the way YOU do it. I do it a different way..."
I recall having a conversation with Lyle Lowery about this at WAR Games Con. I think we agreed that they come from the wrists and out of the top of the head. They actually pop up (coils) as well as out (grates), which is how they fit.
I can just see Stryker running around with his Arcantrik Pokédex and his buddies Vickie and Al, trying to collect a Squire and train it up to a Storm Wall in time to foil the latest plot by Sorscha and Vlad of Team Red Rocket.

Gee... Thanks for going there. NOT. That part of the brain was bleached but evidently I missed a few spots because I still remember that.
Oh, and your Cygnar total points is just killing me. I thaught I was bad, but then I look at your stuff and just cringe.
I DID happen upon a Stormwall... so at least I know I got one before you bought the rest of them out.
Im starting to get rather tired of PP making things that I have to buy. Seriously, cant they just start putting less cool stuff out for me to throw cash at?

I also wonder where the shells for the big guns come from. There doesn't really seem to be room for them to come out of the shoulders with the way they are connected...the connector is smaller than the barrel of the gun. The first shots could start the game loaded in the barrels from that front..but idk about the rest.
