pVayl 35 pts

Hello guys and girls!
After playing Warmachine (Menoth) for a few months now I want to start a Hordes-Army as well. So I've pretty much decided on Legion and more specifically, pVayl.
I just love the Heavy-Beast-Spam.
I've read some tacticas and guides and came up with my first 35. pts list:

Vayl, Disciple of Everblight -6
*Shredder 2
*Shredder 2
*Scythean 9
*Seraph 8
*Typhon 12
Blighted Nyss Shepherd 1
Blighted Nyss Shepherd 1
Strider Deathstalker 2
Strider Deathstalker 2
The Forsaken 2

Or, as an alternative:

Vayl, Disciple of Everblight -6
*Shredder 2
*Scythean 9
*Carnivean 11
*Typhon 12
Blighted Nyss Shepherd 1
Strider Deathstalker 2
Strider Deathstalker 2
The Forsaken 2

These are just my first ideas and I don't know how playable these are, so I'd be grateful for any piece of advice.

The first list looks really good.

I like both of your list, accept I think you should change out the seraph in the first list and change it with a light warbeast and a lesser or more lesser warbeast. I have a seraph but it is better for a shooty army, not with vayl.

The first list could take out 1 shredder for another forsaken.

Seraph is amazing with pVayl for extra threat ranges. I regularly cast it twice a turn (once from Seraph, once from Vayl) to reposition my army to setup charges/sprays.

Oops, I forgot about the animus. Yeah I guess the animus does go well with pVayl's moving and repositioning theme, with her feat and all.
