Need some insperation schemes to paint new Cryx army coming (Any good photos??)

Bought a new Cryax army, guy is leaving the game and solid it cheap, all bare or primed, looking for some insperation to paint them.

My Cryx uses Exile Blue in place of the standard Cryx greys.

Hey there. I painted my Cryx to be weathered and disgusting. All the metals are made from a basecoat of mithril silver, coloured and shaded with black, sepia and black-green Vallejo inks using brush and sponge.

I went with a beetle black carapace trimmed in a very dark brass with bronze for the bolts, some details in copper and claws and tusks done in bone. I just posted pictures of my first Slayer and Leviathan up on my blog http://brynngarsgamingblog.blogspot....leviathan.html.

Do a little search here and look for Zoroastre. His Cryxian horde is fantastic.

Are there any good schemes done in Red / Maroon? I too have loads of Cryx that is unpainted and need a scheme...

I've been thinking of using Adamantium Black (reaper) and some dark bronze color like sycorax bronze for my metals... but the rest... Bone? Maroon? I don't want to use the typical pallete of blacks and greys.

Lich Lord looks sick, I really like these green styled mini's, espically Green themed with weathered/ worn look. Keep em coming guys/girls

Base is Coal black, and just varied levels of Vallejo Emerald for the green colour.

Jon Webb's Cryx are red, and beautifully painted. If you look for the monthly painting pledge thread for June you'll see his Deathjack.
