Whelp question

Hey Ya'll,

I'm interested in getting the king. However, how many whelps can you eat at the beginning of your turn? I read someone healed 25 points with him?! Other then snacking on models you killed how is this possible? Thanks

And you do NOT have to eat them at the beginning of activation, they can be eaten anytime (they are at 1" of you) during activation.

And it costs no fury as you do not have to be forced. This is not snacking but a function of the whelps ability.

You can't eat them in the middle of a move, because the only thing that interrupts movement is ride-by attacks.
Otherwise, it's as per normal interpretation of "at any time during this model's activation".
