Default Cygnar vs. legion help plz

ok, i'm so tired of getting creamed by legion of ever cheese lol. so i thought i'd jump on the forums to see if anyone has any working strats to play against them in a 25point game. now i'm not the greatest player, i'd admit that. i just cant' seem to catch him, his hit and run is very effective, and that stealth bones any shooting i might be doing =(

this is what i got to work with atm:

    Battle box
    N3MO
Constance Blaze (just got her cause i really liked the model XD)
    B13
    Stormblades w/ 2 gunner's and unit attachment
    Stormclad

i'm looking at getting a Storm Strider, that thing just looks awsome

now, he's running Vayl, the one that gives his battle group stealth, i think that's the right warlock and lylth that has that really annoying hit and run spell, he'll use a ravagore, angelius, or a carnivian, usually had a Shepard, maybe a Deathstalker or 2, sometimes blackforest shard, he's used raptor's once, those where annoying but not all that deadly. not all that is in one list mind u, he'll mix it up and run different stuff, but just wanted to throw in all the stuff i'm seen him run

    would appreciate any help XD

My regular practise buddy is a Legion player. A very good one and I do struggle against him.
Here are some tips I've learnt:

Kill the Shepherds. Legion tends to run beast heavy due to their amazing support solos. Kill them and things get harder. Luckily we have lots of options for sniping out hidden solos (electroleap being a prime candidate).
Focus on fully killing his beasts - i.e. when you hit it you want to kill it in one turn. Feat turn you can hopefully kill two. Don't try and assassinate - it's hard to do against Hordes especially against beast heavy lists (which Legion tends to be).
pStryker and Constance don't strike me as the best casters to take on Legion. Siege, eStryker and maybe eCaine or Kara Sloan all put the hurt out better. You probably want to upgrade your Jacks before getting a Stormstrider - Ol'Rowdy and a Stormclad / Defender will all serve you better than getting a Stormstrider.
Legion often get the alpha strike but can rarely take a pounding. Use a cheap jack like an Ironclad to lure him out then feat and kill what he's left exposed.

That's just my 2 cents, I'm sure others have differing ideas

Here would be my plan, keep in mind plans never last past when the models hit the table.

N3mo far back (buy Reinholdt ASAP for second shot).
Finch mid field to power jacks.
Ironclad up front with Electrify so he has to commit 2 heavies to kill it.
Stormclad behind with Lightning shroud to counter charge after ironclad goes boom.
Have stormclad on same side as Carnevean or other heavy with spray so the assault won't hit stormclad.
Cover b13 with stormblades, but spread everyone out as far as possible to negate sprays and shenanigans. Stormblades will take the charge from whatever light beasts or infantry and die. B13 will mop up (lynch can fire beacon if occultation is up, and if facing a lot of infanty have Ryan charge to melee and then Mage storm so it can't deviate and if she is inside he Mage storm can't be counter attacked easily (stealth is watts is alive, if not concealment, and auto pow 12 to baddies who come close))

Main thing is concentrate all fire power on the beasts. Use Nemos feat to get the extra die on electroleaps when the stormclad counter charges. Pow 10+ 3d6 will hurt legion beasts so use the electroleaps from stormclad and finch and Nemo and maybe some chain lightnings.

    Good luck!

Hmm.. I would get Viktor Pendrake and Alten Ashley.. they have bonuses against Hordes beasts.

I play both Legion and Cygnar... I think you can't just go mano y mano against Legion (or Hordes all together) because they really hit hard even for glass cannons.

I would upgrade the Warjacks I use.. Ol'Rowdy, Stormclad and Gallant comes to mind. Then have units like the Sword Knights that take advantage of Flank with warjacks. Try to ignore their infantry and have your units tie up the warbeasts.. if the Carnevean/Angelius/etc are used to kill sword knights.. so what.. that's fine. Instead focus your heavy hitters on killing the solos, support models and warlocks...

oh yeah, the Black 13th has Mage Sight so that could see through stealth..

stay out/off of forests... Legion can walk and see right through them (eyeless and pathfinder).

There are few models in cygnet that will counter stealth, in this case, you need to keep them alive until you can make use of them. Fire beacon is good enough that you need to keep the b13 hidden until they can enable something to make use of them. Keep them out of the forest though, since it will only hinder them unless you have something to give them pathfinder.

I do think that you should look at seige or estryker or kraye as a new caster, though I haven't played with 3nemo to say he isn't any good here. Constance though I find will seriously handicap you unless you can run a tier list. She has to be close to the action and legion hits so hard she becomes a liability.

Whenever I play Legion, our group just agrees not to place forests on the board... at least it would mitigate the so called broken Legion rules... :P

Sloan is awesome... she can see stealth (if she doesn't move) and her spells can really help out shooty units/models.
