I like it! Not amazing, but decent enough. Since the animus is so great I'll definitely be getting one, and $18 is just fine.

Really looks great. And I feel like even with my very modest painting abilities, I might be able to get one to look decent.

    Might have to snag one.

edit- This would be a great base for a modified Seraph. Take this model plus wings from the Angelius.

It's functional, not a bad sculpt, easy to assemble I'd imagine. I'll take it.

Looks fantastic. I've been avoiding building lists with this guy in them because they hadn't shown the model yet. Now that they have and I very much like it I'll have to include one in a list soon.

By the way, which casters seem to benefit the most from these new beasties?

is it just me or does it look like someone clipped the annoying *** wings off a seraph and called it a naga?

Just you maybe. Seraph has a Wyvern-esque body with little hands/feet and has a more smooth, shark-like look to his head.

The Naga looks like Cankerworm with EverBlight Chitin and a face that is closer to a Typhon head. He's also got a pretty good row of Spikes going on there.

Oh man. I was worried that the Naga had two hits against it, middling book art and an amazing stat set up (the ladder likes to be "auto-include tax of looking bad). Glad to see I'm totally wrong, and it's a sweet model too. The tilted lifting of the body adds a lot to its look, with a great, oversized dinosaur head.

    That poor troll...

I'm not sold on his face-carapace. All else is golden.

Anyone else thinking about chopping him off at the next to make a Hydralisk-Scythean?

Looks great to me. One thing I notice about the PP sculpts is that they always seem to look better when you have them in hand vs. the photos. Can't wait.

I'm thinking belphagore with Scythian arms and a better head could make a good hydralysk

You could probably pinch a head from one of Ravagers from GW's Tyranid line for a head like that - at least they've got the swept back crown (actually a warrior head would work as well). You'd just have to get creative with green stuff for the double lower jaw.

Solid model, not too expensive, useful in a number of lists, fast to paint up. I'm in.

I'm not sure about price yet - the sore for PP shows it cheaper than the Raek - yet Firestorm games has the Naga up for £23.36 and the Raek only at £11.66. Might just be pre-order confusion or the naga is much bigger than I expect it to be (hard to judge size on its loan product pic).

Hey, cool. It's not archangel-awesome, but it looks great. It's equal measures dragonspawn and wormy-snakey-thing.

Admittedly, iconic as they are, hydralisks look pretty dumb. That jaw structure looks more silly than frightening.

Google image search them for an idea

Maybe (depending on how things scale) naga body, belphagore chest, scythe or nid arms, nid head, use neph protect wing Stubbs as a basis for mandibles. Could be awesome is everything scales well.

Saturated - you realise now that you've said this you'll get bugged every month after the Naga is released until you make that model

*might or might not be in charge of forming the cult to ensure the formation of the nagahydralisk takes place *

I would be certainly most happy to share should I realise the idea. Hardest part would be to find an easily reposeable troll model that fits appropriately and won't cost me an arm and a leg just for one model.
