Siege thoughts
Hello!
Ive been thinking alot about Siege + stormwall, do you ppl think siege runs SW any good? He can hide behind it pretty good and it makes for a very good feat turn with its 2 defender cannons.
Im thinking all siege lists need reinholdt, rangers, eEiyruss, junior, and some stormcallers.
But what else should i have in a competetive siege list?

My last 5 games have been Siege with Stormwall at 50pts. It's been really fun and my answer is yes. The theory behind it is that he always takes 2 Defenders so for 1pt he gets the covering fire and much more survivability.
The benefits over the standard 2 Defenders are much higher survivability for both Siege who hides behind it and your big guns. He gets added scenario power by toeing him into zones to defend and covering fire is really handy.
My recent list (which is not perfect) is:
Siege
- Stormwall
- Minuteman
Squire
Reinholdt
Storm Strider
3x Stormsmiths
Gun Mages with UA
Rangers
Journeyman
It hasn't lost but I don't feel the focus works right with Minuteman there too so I'll probably be replacing him with Eiryss and Gorman or something next time I play.
There is an inherent disadvantage where I generally have to activate Stormwall BEFORE Siege on feat turn so it can move up and let Siege hit a much larger area with Breach. This is a bit of antisynergy that I'm working on (hence why the Storm Strider is there so he gets more options)
Hope this helps,

Cool. Do you think SW works with him on 35p also? I really want to put him into a 35p list!

I used it in a 35pts tournament with
Siege
- Stormwall
Storm Strider
Squire
Junior
Rangers
Reinholdt
Stormsmith
I won the tournament and played this list in 2 of the games (my other list was pCaine) but I think it could have some bad matchups. It was great for toeing into zones and blasting everything apart though. Hilarious fun. The gun mages do add a lot at 50 though so I think its preference.
Cheers,
