    Default Black dragon Epic Vlad.

So I'm entering the Blood, sweat and tiers tourney at gencon this year and one of the lists I've decided to run is a tier 4 Epic Vlad (I guess I should make the distinction 2vlad now) list. I decided that since it contains alot of Iron Fang models that it should all be painted thematically in the Black Dragon scheme so I hope you enjoy.

one of the units of Uhlans

I've only got 2 done so far but there will be a full sized unit....eventually

That paint scheme may have gotten me to play Khador instead of Cygnar. Meaning, I really like it.

I think the skins could use some wash. But a pretty cool scheme idea

One of my favorite tiers! I really like the way you tied in Vlad and the Uhlans with the Black Dragons... I may have to strip some models

These look even better in person! I think the cool grey of the cloaks adds just the right touch to offset the red base and black armor. Also, Vlad's shoulders are amazing. You've figured out just the right balance between the red, black, gold, and silver.

    Great job!

The scheme does look familiar. I found that I wanted to add another colour to the mix eventually, though I don't think I've used gold as much as you have.

I love the theme - but I think it could use at least a little red. The Vlad looks awesome.

This is a great Khador scheme. I'm loving it.
The forums seem to have one of two responses to new models. (A) "This model is worthless, I'll never use it." or (B) "That model is over powered, it's going to break the game." A few models get both responses, which ends up being really hilarious.
But what's wrong with saying "This model is circumstantially good and it's up to me as a good player to exploit its strengths and minimize its weaknesses"?

Love it, love it, love everything about it... This is exactly what I was doing right now as well... Vlad +pikemen+ uhlans + (brace yourself) a spriggan!?... All naturals for the black dragon fluff and scheme

I like it. I'm going to do my Skorne in a similar way. Still trying to decide if I am going to gloss the black or not.
