Considering Legion, PThagrosh
Greetings, all! So, I am a devout Menite through and through (as the Lawbringer decrees it to be), but drats if Privateer Press isn't poised to take even more of my hard earned credits with these gorgeous, blighted monstrosities. I think the models for Everblight are gorgeous, and I'm surprised my local FLGS hasn't forced me to but several kits damaged by drool. I'd love to start a small force of Everblight (Say, 15 then 25 Points) with PThagrosh. I know he likes his Carnivean, and it appears that a Scythean is also soon to follow after. Would the following lists be a) Viable and somewhat decent in mostly casual, mostly Warmachine play? and b) Be the cheapest and most hassle-free way to go about things. Argue valiantly! I intend to use these responses as valid points when convincing my significant other and loved ones that yes, in fact, I really DO need a second faction.
Start: Battlegroup Starter (13 Points)
PLylth (+6)
-Carnivian (-11)
-Shredder x4 (-8)
Followed by a Forsaken for 15 Points in all.
From there, the next purchase would be the Heavy Dragonspawn Kit, giving me access to a second Carnivean, a Schythean or Ravagore. From there, I would procure PThagrosh and run:
PThagrosh: (+5)
-Carnivean (-11)
-Scythean (-9)
-Shredder x4 (-8)
-Forsaken (-2)
Would this 25 point list work? Is there a better purchase path that gets me to the table with PThagrosh sooner?

Adding a Heavy Dragonspawn Kit and a Forsaken to the battlebox is a good way to start with pThagrosh.
As an added bonus, with the same models plus one more Forsaken you can run Tier 4 Absylonia if you get bored.
