Default grayle tier 3 bonus in tournament

hi, everyone. This question arose on the italian forum where a user asked if grayle's tier 3 bonus (one Reeves of Orboros or Wolves of Orboros gains Advanced Deployment) can be swapped between rounds or if it has to be permanently (for the entire tournament) assigned to one of the two units.

Some say, since who gets the bonus has to be written on the list, the bonus is permanent.
Others say, that steamroller says on page one:

Any player-determined model relationships (attached, client, marshaled, etc.) must be specified in the list and cannot change between rounds.

Who gets the bonus is definetly player-determinated but it is not a model relationship. so it must not be written on the list and hence the bonus can be swapped between rounds.

    Who is right?

The bonus you write on the list is, "one Reeves of Orboros or Wolves of Orboros gains advanced deployment." You don't write which one you are going to choose. You can choose during your deployment which one will be saved back for advanced deployment. similarly just because a unit has the option of advanced deployment, does not mean you are forced to put it outside the deployment zone. though there would likely be an advantage of saving it for the advanced deployment stage for placement.
In 2013 I have made a pledge to take time for myself and paint an hour every day. It takes me about 2 hours to paint a basic troopers so I made a point system to keep track of my goal. 2pts small base, 4 pts med base, 6 pts large base and bonus points for special figs. You should make your own pledge. Do 90 pts in 90 days, or even 30 points in 30 days. You can look here to see how I am doing, More flames and bones here!

You pick one before you start any deployment on either side. You can't go second, see your opponent's deployment and then declare. It must be declared before any models are deployed.

Each round the choice can change. The rationale for this is you don't have to declare which models will gain Advance Move until you make the moves each game. These can easily change matchup to matchup.

Just make sure to always declare it.

I agree that the intention of the bonus seems to be that it is a free bonus that you can apply at will before each game, not a concrete link between model and rule that is established when you build the list. However, I'd guess it's ultimately up to the tournament organiser since we are talking about rules that only apply to tournament administration.
