Epic Base Suggestions

I have recently started trolls (by which I mean I'm collecting my first battlegroup tomorrow, epic doomy a mauler a blitzer and an impaler).

Which brings me to the point of this thread. As me and a friend were looking at the warlock models we noticed they did not have epic bases and so I am considering making one for doomy but I am not sure what would fit best I was thinking just a rock with a rune but I was wondering if anyone had any better ideas.

By my understanding of the fluff, he went epic after being abducted by Cygnar. So sitting on wrecked Cygnar jack or the rubble of a Cygnar stronghold would be very much in character.

I did that with my eDoomy. Used a medium cygnar jack marker it looks great.

So yesterday I got my starting set and couldn't find anything affordable to put as his base (used all money on models) so II wandered outside picked up a piece of broken concrete and used that, so now my Edoomy is standing on top of a very large cliff like rock that actually makes him the correct height for a medium base.

Thanks for the help with Ideas but I would still like to know what other people have used for epic bases for any epic caster.

They have a "show me your base" thread somewhere in the mini pics area. Had quite a few people post really cool looking bases. You'll just have to do a bit of digging

Was planning on having my eDoomy planted atop a mound of rubble that's partially covering a few cygnar trooper bodies. Still trying to figure out how to do it, but I'll get there.
