    Default Warmahordes campaign feedback

Hello... Wondering if anyone has to given this campaign a try:

Also, any recomendations on campaign maps? The group I play with was interested in starting a campaign and I just happened to stumble on this one. Any comments or suggestions on good campaigns would be appreciated!

Over at the blog I write for, Sustained Attack, I documented a division-based league we did, rather than a map-based campaign. I liked it a lot better, and it still allowed for bonds and the like.

My experience with map-based campaigns is that they tend to peter out before completion, and often lead to people having to play too many games, or not having any games for a particular move week. We did try similar rules to what is described there at one point, but it petered out from those exact same symptoms. Hence why I moved to a division style league (think of a professional sports division system), and it was really well received by the local community. (Out of the 12 players, 11 are coming back for the next one we do in a few months, and 4-6 other people have said they are joining in as well).

Just my experience and 2 cents there.
I post under the moniker Red Manatee at Sustained Attack.

Yeah, map based campaigns where you are limited to moving to adjacent map regions can get pretty tedious. Especially if you get cornered by 1 player, and you just have to play them over and over again.

We have multiple game stores in town and we were actually talking about running an NFL Fantasy Football (American Football, not Soccer) style Warmachine/Hordes season.

Any game you walk away from knowing why it ended, and how to repeat or avoid that conclusion in the future, is a victory.

Thanks for the feedback. I don't think we have enough players to do a ladder style campaign but I do like the layout of ur bodger bash (and the name).
