I just got the same feeling I get when the new phone book is delivered![]()

Huh... is it me or did the jacks look skinnier? Must've been all that time waiting
I'll take three thanks!
Hmm..I don't know how the originals worked, but it looks like the "shoulder armor" is actually attached to the lower arm, and the Open vs. Closed position is accomplished by either the upper arm pistons being present or not. Seems like an odd decision. Still looking forward to this kit.
On another note, the Demo looks pretty wicked though.

I'm wondering what the open Devastator and Demolisher look like. I know I'm not fond the Spriggan - the new sculpt seems to lack the mass and menace of the old one. If I can, I'll have to pick up a second Devvy and Spriggan in metal before October.
I make dice bags and paint/play with toy soldiers.
Oh god it's terrible. I'm glad some of you are excited, but I think it looks much worse than the metal one personally.
But you probably shouldn't listen to me, I'm terrible at this game.
The Spriggan lost his internal armor than makes him ARM 19 instead of 17. He also actually has an arm now. Both make him look skinnier, though I think the legs are actually bigger.
Very nice, quite happy with them. I'm not totally sure it was worth waiting on the Spriggan, and I'll probably end up only magnetizing between Devastator/Demolisher and make an entirely separate Spriggan, but I like a lot of the little details. He looks far better proportioned, more like he's walking and less like he's taking a knee. I might try to see how he looks tilted back a bit though, as the lean feels a bit extreme. Lots of nice details though. Particularly fond of how the grenade launchers are now all pointed forward for one.
I'm with you on this for the Spriggan. He looks less beefy. The Demolisher is ok but not sure how I feel about the Devastator. The whole hard angled forearms versus the oldschool curved ones bother me. I'm still going to get the Demolisher of course but maybe they are bad angled pics and I need to see them in person like the Conquest (which looks 100x better in person).
I think the Spriggan looking more skinny is actually a good thing, as the model never quite matched the more agile-looking artwork. But I'm afraid I do prefer the more rounded armour plates of the metal Devastator, so maybe I should get one or two bricks in metal before they'll be out of stock everywhere.
Finally, now if we only had a eta on the release date. I think the new look could grow on me.

Those look phenomenal. Privateer is entering a whole new level of wow factor for their jacks.
Well they look alright, I'm just excited there finally coming out to be honest. I've been waiting for this kit for a while now
i like it whats wrong with you guys. i can now get a spriggon and devstater. cant wait they looks very good.
I love how dynamic the legs are in this sculpt. I'm sick of reposing all my jack legs.
I like the leaner look of the Spriggan, helps justify him only being ARM 19.
Not crazy about the angular arms for the clamjacks, but I'm sure I'll get used to them.
I'm honestly not sure how I feel about this. In some regards I like the metal sprigs/devastator better, and it may just be that the proportions on the plastics is a bit different-y, but I have to admit, I'm excited about the possibility of character upgrade kits for clam-shells. Irusk would love a character clam-shell.
Metal Spriggs is Best Spriggs. The kit was clearly made with the Demolisher in mind as this was its introduction, but it works fine for the Devastator. Spriggan just...aside from lacking the chest armor, it also seems less 'confident' in its stance.
At first I disliked the changes. I liked how the rounded plates made the dev look like a little wrecking ball. I didn't like the flat plates...
Now that I see the dev closed, I get what they are doing. Closed it looks like a complete Wedge "cow catcher" like plow. I really like it.
I think I will have to wait and see them in person before I decide because I am really really hoping they look better in person. If I had to just go on the pictures alone I would say I don't like them much, although I am happy that the legs look bigger.
I might have to buy a plastic and make a metal / plastic hybrid or two.
Because you never know when you are going to need a crash helmet!
Wouldn't surprise me if the upper arm piece (the "spindly" part) was a separate piece. The metal Devastator had the same skinny little upper arm for the opened pose. Regardless, it shouldn't be at all hard to take that piece out on the Spriggan and attach the forearm almost directly to the shoulder.
I agree with the Colonel, though. Lugging around plastic Spriggans and Devastators will be a lot easier than the metals.![]()

That paint job dosent help sell this at all thats for sure...I see the direction they went with the sheild fists but its just so plain? I think its fine they are bigger and flatter but really plain. The original has a band going acossed it. It dosent sound like alot but at least it had some intrest points. :/ I may have to get a metal sprig. But I hope that they grow on me. Dose anyone know if you can order the old metal sculpts bitz on the store after they discontenue the full model? And looking at the paint job closer i see why its a bit lacking. Mainly PP dosent paint rivets on khadors jacks too often. It there style foe khador I suppose. But it kinda hurts this models appeal with big flat surfaces. Missing those bands it makes it kinda...boreing? I guess?

Man O' War...someday soon...
Damn. Khador came out on top when it came to the plastic re-sculpts.
Wow, they made the Spriggan EVEN MORE stupid looking than it already is.
Hmmm... maybe I should snatch up a metal one in the near future?
The Demolisher actually looks the best of the lot. I'll stick my metal Devastator, though, I am trying to see how one could magnetize the whole thing.
I just pre-ordered 3 from the Warstore.com. I am really happy to finally see a SKU number for these badboys.
I like how the Spriggen is pulling back the lance, I am sure that will make him fit better in the pre-cut foam army tote then the metal one.
FINALLY THE WAIT IS ALMOST OVER!!!!!
The spriggan sculpt is lacking but the demolisher is solid and its probably got enough spare parts to upgrade and customize the two older metal jacks I already got.

Spriggan looks not so good ... but better than the old one.
The Demolisher looks AWESOME!
That said, they are a bit Too hunched over. If you rotated the body up ever so slightly, and get rid of the visor that I never ever liked in any version of these models (which looks like it'll be detachable), These guys are going to look even better.
I wonder what an invincible Harkevich army looks like? Win by scenario by shoving everything out of the way.

For those of you who hate the new Spriggan... I would be happy to trade my metal one for a plastic one when it comes out, and I'm bet I'm not the only one.
I see what look like metal Juggernauts still in stock in some online stores, I bet you won't have too much trouble finding metal Spriggans for a good while after the new plastic kit comes out.
I'm glad I've already got a metal Spriggan, the new plastic one looks too thin (except for the legs, they look much better), but I'll still be picking one of these up on release to magnetize for the Demolisher and Devastator.
I think the picture is....misleading the paint job makes the arms look much worse than they really are. It's kind of shocking how poorly it suits the model.... I think we'll know what the model can REALLY when we see first few good pro paint jobs from the community. I'm excited about the plastic clam jack kit.
I think they all look awesome. Personally I'm not totally sold on the usefulness of the demolisher yet. What does he do that the devastator can't already do? Since I already dropped for a metal Spriggan I'll probably buy two kits. Really excited about finally having a devastator!
"Just because you lost with a list doesn't mean its bad, likewise winning with a list doesn't make it good either."
I already have a Spriggan and a Devestater. i plan on getting another metal spriggan. i don't foresee ever needing more than one of either Devestator or the Demolisher. i would run 2 spriggans. so i will be getting the Kit for the demolisher.
i like the new look for the Devy and the Demolisher. don't like the Spriggan. i would buy a set of legs for my metal spriggan solely to replace my Metal Spriggan legs xD
i need to finish painting my Devy and get it back ont he shelf at the shop >.>

As long as it's proportionate, size-wise, to the Juggernaut chassis, I'll be happy. The current ones look so weeny next to them.
