I'm assuming its an incomplete list at this point.. much like the legion naga was added much later to its release list.. i'm expecting evyros to be added and maybe some other item

Still loving Hyperion, and it'll make it into my 50 point Ravyn for sure. At first I was bummed about no Vyros2, then I realized the longer til he's released, the longer I can put off buying a unit of Destors.

Seeing Hyperion and Ossrum in the same month has me wondering if they aren't going to release the colossals and casters from the same faction in the same month anymore, just put out whatever's ready. Maybe November will end up being Vyros and Galleon?

Though if that is everything for October, it's looking like they aren't going to get all the gargantuans out in 2012 ... unless they're going to release 3 of them along with the last two colossals in Nov and Dec. Makes me glad I'm not a Hordes player, haha.

New WM models during this fall? More difficult still. Is time to face the fact that PP don't have the capacity to release model faster. What we saw this year looks to be the new norm. At least there no backorders issues anymore, right?

Yeah, the "all Colossals and Gargantuans" by 2012 seemed very optimistic. Remember that they promised everything from Wrath by June and it turned out to take all the way to October to finish that.

I bet they just haven't posted Evyros and Galleon yet because perhaps they're planning on springing them at GenCon. Or just because they want to. Seems pretty likely that we'll see the other half of our models the same time as Hyperion comes out.

Not sure about Galleon, even the July NQ just has the computer render. I'm not so sure he's even gone into production yet, or any time soon.

No, they said right from the start before we even saw any pics that there would be no colossals with arcnodes.

Aha, I missed that... I knew from the art that the centre was the large shot, but I wasn't sure what the two shoulder disks were for. Oh well.

Having finally gotten Colossals yesterday and had a chance to read Hyperion's stats, I was surprised to discover that the Thresher Cannons aren't actually magic weapons, but some kind of railguns. My guess is that they're the weapon port-like things in Hyperion's hands, and the "arc node" discs are simply part of the control mechanism for the Starburst gun.

That leads me to believe that those forearms are borrowing the design of the Hydra for some extra "punch".

Now I will be forever confused about the disks... sure the Phoenix has a gun to shoot out of the disks as well (though its coming out of the field generator)... But what about the Chimera!?

Maybe the disks are just designed to help power things that require more than what can be supported off of internal systems alone (arcnodes OR big f***ing guns)?

Sadly, the odds of me actually getting to a convention that Privateer would be attending (such as Templecon) is rather slim at the moment.

Yeah living in Northern Ontario doesn't grant me many opportunities to attend conventions in the US outside of huge road trips or taking a flight... I would rather wait to buy more Elves than pay for travel to a con myself...
